Lucius Arthur Captivates at Brick and Mortar San Francisco

Tuesday night at Brick & Mortar Music Hall was the perfect reminder of why live music in intimate venues is so special. Opening the night was Kin + Me, who kicked things off with an energetic DJ remix set that had the crowd dancing early and set the tone for a fun night ahead. Next up was San Francisco indie rock band Slow Coast and they absolutely delivered. Their music is the perfect blend of feel-good vibes and  summer energy, creating a sound that’s instantly inviting. Their infectious performance quickly won over the audience, with the crowd fully embracing every song. They brought just the right mix of catchy melodies, driving rhythms, and uplifting energy, making them the perfect lead-in for the night’s headliner. Last Friday was the first day of the legendary Free & Easy-festival at the Backstage in Munich, and people were already in for a treat. Pro Pain played at the biggest of the venues on the grounds (Werk) of the Backstage and it was packed. When doors opened, the people literally flooded in. Not only Pro Pain played that night, but also Hardcore legends D.R.I.. Opening band was Mudhead. What can I say, it was sweaty, fast, and pretty hardcore. Finn Wolfhard Turns Up the Heat with New Album Fire From The Hip

Acclaimed actor, musician, and director Finn Wolfhard has officially released his highly anticipated sophomore album, Fire From The Hip, available everywhere now. Following the success of his debut album, Happy Birthday, Wolfhard returns with a collection of 12 tracks that expands on his indie rock roots while showcasing a more confident, dynamic sound. Created alongside a close group of friends and collaborators, Fire From The Hip was inspired by classic records like Exile on Main St. and Beggars Banquet, while still carving out a style that is unmistakably Finn’s own. The album was recorded at Pachyderm Studios in February 2026 with engineer Andrew Humphrey, and the artwork was a collaborative effort between Wolfhard, Grant Prettyman of Belhum, Hudson McNeese, Louis Nicely, and Cadien Lake James. Chicago’s Elizabeth Moen Releases New Video

  Elizabeth’s move from Iowa to Chicago played a huge role in shaping both her songwriting and her sound. While she still holds onto those Midwestern roots, Chicago’s creative scene opened up new possibilities. Working alongside producer Spencer Tweedy proved to be the perfect match, with Tweedy keeping Elizabeth’s voice front and center while giving the songs a vintage-inspired feel that sounds fresh instead of nostalgic.   The Last Dinner Party have returned with another captivating release, unveiling their new single, “Knocking At The Sky,” which arrives alongside the digital deluxe edition of their acclaimed sophomore album, From The Pyre.  The band describes “Knocking At The Sky” as the final chapter of the From The Pyre story.
