It’s been a really long time, since live shows were part of our lives. At the beginning of 2020 we had lots of amazing tours to look forward to. By then the COVID-19 virus had already begun to spread. It affected all of our lives in many ways. People got sick, lost their jobs, schools closed and the kids had to study at home, while many people started working from home. The music industry was hit really hard by the virus. Tours were postponed or canceled and record releases were pushed back. Venues had to close because people weren’t allowed to go outside, let alone meet with others. Every country had its own strategy, depending on the number and increase of infections. In many countries, it seems that the measures that were taken are slowly paying back. A few weeks ago, they allowed smaller shows to happen in Germany, seated and with an appropriate distance between the people. Olivia O’Brien made a stop in San Francisco and brought her Sad F**king Tour to the Regency Ballroom. It was quite a night as the fans arrived early to make sure to get up front and sing along with Olivia! The night kicked off with sets by drumaq and Hey Violet. They got the crowd warmed up and adrenaline was racing through the crowd as Olivia took the stage. From the moment she arrived to the end, the crowd was singing along and completely “in the moment”. The crowd wasn’t filled with phones in the air, instead the fans were singing along and feeling the vibes that her music delivers. Dirty Honey delivers high energy Rockin set at Slim’s in San Francisco!

Last night, the place to be in San Francisco was Slim’s! Dirty Honey rolled into town and delivered an epic high energy Rock N Roll set. The night kicked off with UK rockers, The Amazons. It was their first time playing in San Francisco and they definitely won over the crowd. Check them out here: The crowd was warmed up and ready to rock as Dirty Honey took to the stage. They brought their Rolling 7s headline tour to San Francisco and they did not disappoint! Their set was adrenaline fueled and non-stop rock from start to finish. They have performed at festivals and have opened for some heavy hitters, but they really shine when they are headlining their own show. They owned that stage and gave 150% to the crowd. Silverstein celebrate their 20 year anniversary live in Munich at the Backstage

The year 2000 didn’t only bring a new millennium, it was also the year the Canadian band Silverstein started their career. Fast forward to 2020, they celebrate their 20 year anniversary. No better way to do that, than tour and celebrate with the people that kept the band alive for two decades – the fans. Three out of the five dates have sold out pretty quick, the other two, Munich upon them, were pretty close to selling out. Judging by how packed the venue was, there couldn’t have been many tickets left for though. For their European tour, they brought along Hawthorne Heights from Dayton, OH. They’re also around for 15 years by now and played in Germany several times. Naturally, they also drew their share of fans to the show. Hawthorne Heights released their latest album ‘Lost Frequencies’ last November.
