Archer Oh brings epic opening set to Menlo Park at Guild Theatre

August 26, 2023

We were so excited to catch Dogstar at the amazing Guild Theatre venue in Menlo Park. What was even better, was finding a new favorite band in the opener. Archer Oh is from Moreno Valley and they absolutely killed it at the show. We loved their nonstop energy and the music had us hooked.  We have been hooked on Easy Eyes and that song has a permanent spot on our playlist! They are a surft/indie garage band that really captured the crowd’s attention. We can’t wait to see them live again. Check out some photos from their set by our Rockin Ryan:   Make sure to check them out and visit their social media sites and stay up to date on the latest news. August 26, 2023

Dogstar are currently out on their Somewhere Between the Power Lines and Palm Trees Tour and they made a stop in Menlo Park, California this past week.  They played to a sold out crowd at the intimate yet exquisite Guild Theatre Venue.  First off, hats off to the wonderful staff who made sure the show went smooth from start to finish.  This regal venue has a capacity of approximately 500 and holds a sound as if it was a state of the art recording studio. We arrived early to catch the opener, Archer Oh from Moreno Valley, and they blew us away. It was amazing to catch an opener that soon became a playlist staple! They rocked the stage. The crowd was ready for Dogstar as Keanu Reeves, Robert Mailhouse,  and Bret Domrose walked on stage.  The crowd soon erupted in cheers as they kicked off the set with Blonde. The set list for the night kept the crowd captive and pleased, playing old songs and many new songs which had us in [Read More]

Foreigner delivers stellar set at Shoreline for The Historic Farewell Tour

August 25, 2023

Last night was not your typical Thursday night in the Bay Area and it is one that will remain strong in our memories. We were at the Shoreline Amphitheatre to see Foreigner – The Historic Farewell tour with Loverboy. The venue was quickly filling up as a couple high school choirs were battling out.  They got the crowd warmed up and the energy quickly elevated the second Loverboy took the stage. Loverboy kicked it off strong with Notorious and the crowd erupted in cheers, they followed it up with a personal favorite Lucky Ones. The hits kept on coming, one after another and the crowd was soaking it all in. You could feel the nostalgia in the air as many of us were reliving our high school years.  It was incredible to watch groups of friends come together to revisit a band that was the soundtrack of their youth and to witness Loverboy deliver the songs nearly exactly ss they sounded years ago! I was sitting near a couple of large groups who were dancing [Read More]

August 10, 2023

Los Angeles based rockers ALEXSUCKS made a tour stop in San Francisco and ROCKED the Brick and Mortar.  Their night featured a killer set by Weekend Youth and we couldn’t be happier.   The band fronted by Alex Alvarez bring together a style of punk, garage rock and 90’s dance featuring catchy lyrics, energetic guitars and grooves to keep you moving. Imagine a blend of Modern English and The Strokes.  What else can you ask for? Check out photos of their set by our Rockin Ryan:   They are definitely a band you wanted to check out.
