Here we are at #6 for our countdown of 14 Bands that will rule 2014 and we are excited to announce the honor goes to New Politics!  I am sure you can’t imagine them having an even bigger year than 2013, but it is true. These guys are on a non stop Energizer Bunny  track to success and just have the Midas Touch. Sometimes, it is hard to think that only 4 years ago we met this amazing band in a small nightclub in San Francisco. Read one of my previous posts here. Day 5 of 12 Days of Guitarists goes to Xander Demos

Here we go on Day 5 of the 12 Days of Guitarists and we are pleased to bring you shredder extraordinaire Xander Demos! Xander is one shredder that will have you in awe of his playing. He is incredible at  his craft as his fingers sweep his guitar.  Check out his song “White Knuckle Driving” from his CD “Guitarcadia“, that one just blows me away every time! Today on our countdown of 14 Bands that will rule in 2014 goes to Art of Dying. Rockers, Art of Dying from Canada have a constant spot on my daily music playlist.  Their music not only kicks ass in rock n roll but also have such emotionally charged lyrics that many can connect and relate to. I don’t think a day goes by where I didn’t listen to an Art of Dying song.  As I mentioned before,  I personally, have experienced the power of healing through music by listening to my favorite Art of Dying songs at one of the hardest times in my life. It truly is music to feed your soul wrapped in blazing rock and roll. It has been great to watch Art of Dying become one of everyone’s favorite bands and their fans all have great stories to share. Day 3 of 12 Days of Guitarists goes to J.R. Bareis of Love and Death

For our Day 3 of 12 Days of Guitarists, I bring you one of most talented teens to the hit the stage in a very long time. J.R. Baries of Love and Death.  J.R. was picked by Korn guitarist, Brian Head Welch to join his band, Love and Death when he was only 15 in March 2011. J.R. has been playing guitar since he was 11 and it is amazing to know that he never took any lessons, completely self taught. He shreds on the guitar and has quite impressive skills that definitely qualify him as our guitarist extraordinaire. J.R. uses PRS Guitars, Mesa Boogie, GHS Strings, 1964 Ears, In Tune Guitar Picks and Best-Tronics Guitar Cables.  J.R. also shows how to play tutorials on his Youtube channel and you can learn how to play many of the Love and Death songs.
