Our Tuesdays Travels featured band is Girlie Hell from Brazil

We have a very special band for you on our Tuesdays Travels feature. How about an all female hard rock band from Brazil that kicks ass? Check out Girlie Hell as they make a name for themselves across the globe. Girlie Hell started in 2007 and gained a lot of attention for their first album, Get Hard. They have since been melting faces and rocking the world with their music. Girlie Hell is: Bullas Attekita – Vocals & Guitar Kaju Stoppa – Vocals & Guitar Carol Pasquali – Drums Fernanda Simmonds – Bass They had a very successful tour last year with another one of our favorite female bands, Crucified Barbara. They have also worked with and performed with with some bands/producers like Sepultura, Ted Jensen, Krisium, Bad Religion. They are currently planning on releasing a vinyl later this year and are ready for you to know more about Girlie Hell. The Quireboys release new album and are heading out on tour!

One of my absolute FAVORITE bands is set to release their new album in less than 2 weeks! I am talking about The Quireboys (aka London Quireboys) and their new album Black Eyed Sons which will be available on June 16th. I have been so excited for this release and am ready to rock out to it! This year The Quireboys are celebrating 30 years of Rockin and there is no letting up from them. In addition to the new album, they will be heading out on a tour. If I wasn’t excited enough about the album, imagine the screams that ensued as I saw a California show planned on the dates! YES!!!!! We Are Harlot have made their debut last month on Rock on the Range and followed up with another kick ass set at Rocklahoma. They then arrived in Las Vegas for an amazing night performing at the Hard Rock Hotel with The Pretty Reckless. The Dead Rabbitts Premiere New Song “Shapeshifter”

Everybody loves super groups and don’t think super groups are reserved for ROCK! Check out the metalcore super group The Dead Rabbitts which is really getting a lot of attention. The Dead Rabbitts is comprised of Craig Mabbitt (Escape the Fate), Alex Torres (Eyes Set to Kill, Greeley Estates, Alesana), TJ Bell (Escape the Fate, Motionless in White), and Chris Julian. The music is reminiscent of Craig’s previous bands Blessthefall and The Word Alive and brings out a heavier edge to the music but still promises to deliver hooks and melodies.
