Asking Alexandria release music video for Moving On

August 28, 2014

Today Asking Alexandria released a music video for their song, Moving On. The song definitely highlights the versatility of the band as it brings out a stadium style rock ballad to life. It is definitely one of my favorites. Check out the video here: Asking Alexandria have been busy touring and were on the Rockstar Mayhem Festival. They will continue to be busy as they will be touring in Europe for most of the fall. We are looking forward to new music and hope they announce another US tour. Earlier this year, they made a stop at The Senator Theater in Chico for the Break Down the Walls Tour. They were awesome and full of non stop energy. You can check out our full coverage here: Asking Alexandria Chico show. If you were hoping for more of their heavy music, check out this tribute video that Rockin Ryan made from footage of their past shows he covered:: I will leave you with also the slideshow of bad ass photos from Rockin Ryan of their Chico set and stay tuned [Read More]

Asking Alexandria BREAKS DOWN THE WALLS at the Senator Theater in Chico

April 12, 2014

The Senator Theater in Chico will never be the same as Asking Alexandria came through for their stop on the  BREAK DOWN THE WALLS Tour this past week.  They came in with full non-stop energy from start to finish! Tonight they finish up their US leg of the tour in Mesa, Arizona at the UFest.  Then they head off overseas for several shows and return in July for the Rockstar Energy Mayhem Festivals. The Senator Theater was packed as the opening bands, Born of Osiris, Crown The Empire, We Came as Romans and August Burns Red got the crowd warmed up for the almighty AA!  The stage setup was great from the the multiple backdrops featuring previous albums to the vending machines. The only thing we were missing were the dancing vices especially Erin Johnson from The Death of Me video! Their set list for the evening was: Don’t Pray for Me Run Free Breathless Dedication Someone, Somewhere Reckless and Relentless To the Stage A Prophecy Break Down The Walls Killing You The Death of Me [Read More]

Jeff George and Danny Worsnop of Harlot join Camp Freddy on stage at the Roxy

December 22, 2013

Ok… so now I am really bummed about not making out to the 3 Day Camp Freddy Residency at The Roxy in Hollywood.  First I told you yesterday about Austin Winkler (formerly of Hinder) joined them on stage as he sang Born To Be Wild. (Read post here). Well, last night, I missed catching our featured guitarist Day 1 (Read Day 1 here), Jeff George of Harlot and his bandmate Danny Worsnop (Asking Alexandria) join Camp Freddy.  Guess what song they played? Poison Nothing But a Good Time which is so perfect since in our interview with Jeff earlier this year we asked  him to pick a song from the ’80s to be his anthem or theme song and  he chose… Poison Nothin But A Good Time.  You can check out Jeff and Danny here performing a cover of Poison’s Nothing But a Good Time here:   It was a wild night that included many special guests including Moby, Donovan,  Courtney Love, Billy Ray Cyrus , Moby, Slash and more!  Danny came out and sang three songs, [Read More]

Denmark’s Cold Black releases killer new video!

November 12, 2013

Last year I told you about a great Heavy Hard Rock band, Cold Black. You can read more about them here. I described them as “having a great heavy sound that reminds me of  some of my favorite bands, like Asking Alexandria blended with Black Veil Brides and a touch of Motley Crue old school style!”. They have just released a new video for their song, “These Lips Will Go Blue” and it is BAD ASS all the way!!! They have also added Jeff Polson for bass which Victor Rimpler  was handling before with his KILLER vocals. Then you have Alex Rimpler and Martin Dupoint on guitars and Jamal Aaron Gordon on drums.Check out the video here:   The new song is off of their upcoming EP “In Motion” which is set for a December 15th release on Itunes. The new video deo which is produced by Tony Gammalo at Spider Studios, Olmsted Falls, Ohio. I love Cold Black and so wish they would come out here to California. I told you last month about the release of Asking Alexandria’s new video for their song “The Death of Me” from their new album, From Death to Destiny. The video featured a young Danny Worsnop as he chooses his vice from dancing girls in vending machines. It was greatly received and we had received so many emails asking us about one certain girl in this video. Everyone wanted to know who is the “heroin” girl that Danny chooses in the video as well as being featured on the cover of their Death to Destiny album.  Well, we not only found out for you but we even have an interview with the beautiful Ms. Erin Johnson.  If you haven’t seen the video you can check it out here:   Doesn’t that video just KICK ASS??
