October 22, 2022

PALAYE ROYALE returned to San Francisco on October 18th, just 10 days ahead of the release of their album, Fever Dream. The band delivered an arena worthy show at the legendary Fillmore.  One thing is certain , these guys have continued to raise the bar each time with every performance. I remember the first time we listened to Palaye Royale back in 2013 as we introduced them to you as Best Indie Rock Band You Have to Hear. They had captured our attention from that first listen and we have continued to follow the amazing journey these three bother; Sebastian Danzig, Emerson Barrett and Remington Leith, have been on. From being an indie band winning the final round of MTV’s 2014 Musical March Madness to signing record deals, traveling the world on their tours, and now releasing their fourth album, Fever Dream. The line for the Fillmore show quickly made it around the block as long time fans and new ones were anxious to catch the Fever Dream show. The night began with an [Read More]

Des Rocs releases video for his stunning new track Manic Memories

July 14, 2022

New York City native Des Rocs has released a compelling new video for his new single, Manic Memories. This is the first single released after his 2021 debut album A Real Good Person In A Real Bad Place. The video is stellar as it brings to life a depth of emotions, all the while spotlighting Des Rocs. This single is just the beginning as he announced he will be independently releasing a string of new singles this year.   Danny Rocco best known as his stage name, Des Rocs explains,   “Ever since I was big enough to sling a guitar around my shoulder, I’ve worshiped at the altar of rock music and the community that defines it. I began the holy ritual of shows in DIY basements and sweaty dive bars. Ever since then, I’ve worn my independence as a badge of honor. In my bones I’m still that same 13 year old hustling demos outside venues before catching the last train home from Penn Station. That’s why today feels like the perfect day to [Read More]

The Suffers new album and check out their set at BottleRock Napa

June 9, 2022

Gulf Coast soul band The Suffers took the crowd by storm with their set at BottleRock Napa 2022.  The crowd went wild for their high energy groovin set. They instantly had the crowd on their feet and dancing around.  Check out some photos from their set: The Suffers released their new album It Starts With Love via Missing Piece Records on June 3rd. The song features their song, Nunya which frontwoman Kam Franklin describes: “‘Nunya’ is a song about just a few of the hardships, lessons, wins and losses we have experienced in our 11 years together as a band. I wrote it in Nashville after experiencing a really bad day filled with big promises, gaslighting, and deceitful behavior from an industry big whig. Instead of letting the moment get the best of me, I decided to fight back via song. ‘Nunya’ allowed me to air some industry grievances, confront the trauma that came with having our gear stolen a few years back, and it gave me my power back. We recorded most of it with [Read More]

Kelsy Karter delivers flawless high energy set out on her Pink Kink & Punk Tour with a stop in San Francisco

April 14, 2022

It was our first show in two years and we couldn’t have asked for a better return to the live music scene than Kelsy Karter and the Hot Trash. Kelsy  made a stop in San Francisco for her Pink Kink & Punk Tour at the Brick and Mortar Music Hall. This was definitely one concert that I won’t soon forget. The bar has been set high as Kelsy and her band truly delivered a flawless high energy set that had us knee deep in awe and craving more. We first heard Kelsy Karter with her single Out of Drugs in 2017 and have been hooked ever since. Over the years, we have continued to be held captive by her emotionally driven and soul baring vocals. But to finally catch her live performance takes it to a whole new level. The crowd at the Brick and Mortar were completely engulfed in her energy as she shared stories about her music and gave 150% on each song. Nothing was left unsaid or unsung as she gave everyone [Read More]
