I love my Saturdays, a day where I can kick back and ride around running my errands while listening to my favorite XM Sirius Channel Sixx Sense Channel 242…… Well today that was not to happen as I put on my car stereo and didn’t even make it out of the driveway as I was greated with some Spanish channel replacing my Sixx Sense. I thought someone must have changed my Number 1 Favorite channel so I rapidly scanned straight to 242 and received the message of DOOM…… This channel is no longer available on XM Sirius, to download the new channel line up…. blah… blah…. blah.., I didn’t care to hear what came after that heartbreaking NEWS!!!!
WTF???? No Nikki Sixx! No Kerri Kasem! No Kyle Chrise! No Ask Nikki! No Sideshow Countdown! No Blast from the Past! and no ROCK N ROLL!!!!!! Dammit, I am pissed about this. The only reason I have continued to keep my subscription on XM Sirius was due to Sixx Sense, yes I do listen to Octane, Lithium, Hair Nation and Liquid Metal but they are always my second choices. So I am going to be cancelling my subscription until they get SIXX SENSE back on the air.
I didn’t believe that they would take off SIXX SENSE so after checking on Twitter and seeing other outraged listeners, I knew it was true. XM Sirius confirms it on their website as of October 18th SIXX SENSE as well as a handful of other channels (mostly talk radio style) will no longer be carried on XM Sirius Radio.
Below are some of the posts that I recently saw on Twitter as well as one from Kerri Kasem with the following message:
“For all of you @SixxSense listeners who are upset that we are no longer on @SiriusXM PLEASE write them here @SXM_Help or call 1-866-635-2349″
I will continue to bring you more information on this right after I cancel my subscription and see how I can get IHeartRadio set up in my car.

The Sixx Sense was my favorite channel and I am considering ending my subscription. Not only do I enjoy the music I enjoy listening to Nikki and Kerri. I called and lodged a complaint. (Aka I was pissed and bitching). Lots of calls will the 6 back on. CALL,!!!!!!
I called and the guy on the other end of the phone stated they have been getting a tone of calls and basically told me XM has the right to remove stations at any time and it is company policy. He also stated that Clear Channel removed it from their subscription. I asked him if I could get a discount sense they are charging me the same amount for less channels and he said NO. “I think he was rubbing his nipples as he was talking to me….”(south park episode ref…). He was a complete douchebag asshole!

I just cancelled my subscription! I’ve been with XM from the start, but when they start acting like the cable companies I’M OUT! SixxSense was the ONLY reason I kept XM, the guy who made this decision will probably regret it! Everyone needs to cancel today (they will always come back with better pricing anyway)!!!

It seems the people are talking to you Sirius XM. How will you handle this? There seems to be a huge following for Nikki Sixx and Kerri. What a horrible choice you have made and we all hope you will correct it to redeem yourself. Bring them back before you loose a lot of business. This is the people’s choice and we have spoken!

They added three Spanish channels and 2 talk show and more sports channels!! It is a joke that they did it really quick with no warning.

If it was due to ratings fine, still in that situation it would be nice to think they would give some warning prior, giving them a window of time to come up with some sort of solution. Though I find it very hard to believe that ratings would be the problem, as Nikki has a very large fan base. He is literate, intelligent, interesting and is listen-able for any one who has common sense, good taste and at least half a brain.

I keep all the comments on here and send them to XM Sirius Help so they continue to know we are unhappy and it is not going to stop. It has been two months and I keep sending to them.
