Rockers Discrepancies release video for Art of War as they give you a fix of rapcore, rap Rock.

August 3, 2017

As the music scene continues to tear down the genre walls, great bands have come forward with their own blend of music. When bands fuse their musical influences, the outcome is welcoming. Discrepancies is one of those bands to check out as they deliver rap rock, rapcore, NuMetal. Whatever you want to call it is fine with us, as long as you check them out! They have released a music video for their track, Art of War. Vocalist ATG comments about the track, “‘Art of War’ is metaphor comparing love and war. It’s a story of betrayal. Being in a relationship is a war that you and your significant other fight together side by side as soldiers. Inevitably, an obstacle is thrown at you, leaving you injured. Your partner can either stick it out with you or leave you behind. In the absolute worst case, your partner joins the other side. This song is my interpretation of your soldier joining the other side.”  The track is off their 2016 debut album The Awakening. The video [Read More]

Death Valley Dreams deliver dose of indie alt rock with their track When We Were Young

August 3, 2017

The 90’s were a melting pot of music and I was quickly sampling all the different styles of music; grunge, new wave, goth, alternative, ska, hair metal and more.  One thing was certain, I was drawn to the magic of new wave and alternative music. With synth vibes and catchy melodies that would wrap around brooding or dark lyrics, you couldn’t contain your exhilaration as the music would take over your senses. Death Valley Dreams have grabbed my attention with their track, When We Were Young. Their music will take you back to the fun easy-listening days of the 90’s where new wave and alternative music were thriving. It is a nod to the nostalgic youth of the 90’s yet carries its own modern flair that is perfect for today’s music scene.  It is one track that hooks you in and gets you wanting more Death Valley Dreams.  Check out the song below: The song is off their album, Lust In The Modern World which was released in June 2016.  Exciting news to share from New Politics.   New Politics have announced they will be releasing their new album Lost In Translation on October 6th. We have already been hooked on their new song, One of Us and now you can check out the next new track! New Politics have posted the following news:   Lost In Translation represents a new phase in our lives. After years of constant touring, it was important to us that we reinvent ourselves, and wanted to write honest songs about the real things happening in our lives. We spent a lot of quality time together in-between albums as friends, watching movies, hanging out, and talking about our future plans. That brotherly love and bonding initiated the first batch of songs that has helped us shape the album. A lot of the songs are about personal experiences and the things every human goes through and it was nice to let go of the rules we had laid out for ourselves. It’s a new era for all of us, and we’re proud [Read More]

Get to know Eva as she is set to release her new music video for Bad For Us

August 1, 2017

Who is Eva off stage? Eva isn’t your typical, run-of-the-mill glammed-out, glitter-esque diva Barbie doll, which is what makes her such a sensation.  It should be noted that there’s a rumor—and this is just gossip at this point—but there’s a rumor that she’s planning ‘the biggest pop-up glitter party the world has ever known’ for her next single Over U…  I’m sure we’ll follow up with her about that… But who is Eva off stage?   “I’m a pop artist who is very much a real person. I’m not a super diva type, I’m relatable as a person. On stage I get glammed up and love sparkles everywhere, but off stage I’m pretty normal.”   Instant Karma’s remix of Bad For Us shows us both sides of the Hollywood coin –  made for Hollywood and made in Hollywood… What differentiates Eva from the vixen DJ duo, Instant Karma, is pretty simple, which is why they make for such a bomb collaboration.  Two colored-hair, pierced up DJ beauties jaw-dropping the crowd with their looks (and music) at swanky clubs and in-the-know parties are about as [Read More]
