Punk Rockers Heart Attack Man release new track Spit

February 20, 2025

Rising Punk rockers Heart Attack Man kicked off my day with release of their new track, Spit. The song delivers a great one-two punch as frontman Eric shares, “This song is a go-for-the-throat, tongue in cheek lashing out against the use of generative artificial intelligence in the creative process, as I think it signals the death of ones own inherent creativity.” It is a killer track that will get you pumping and tap into that rage we all hold! The Cleveland Ohio trio, Eric Egan [vocals, guitar], Adam Paduch [drums], and Ty Sickels [guitar] are set to release their fourth full length LP, Joyride the Pale Horse on April 25th which will include this new song. Movements share new song Where I Lay, watch the visualizer!

February 20, 2025

Movements release their new single, Where I Lay.  The song is closely connected with their previous release Afraid to Die.  Vocalist Patrick Miranda comments, “‘Where I Lay’ is one of those songs that was tough for me to write“,Lyrically, it’s really emotionally vulnerable and it had me revisiting places with my writing that I hadn’t explored in a while. It’s for anyone else out there who feels like they’ve never quite fit right in the world. This one is for the outcasts“.  “The idea is that ‘Afraid To Die’ and ‘Where I Lay’ are living in the same world thematically — and, in some ways, are extensions of one another. In ‘Afraid To Die,’ I’m being chased by masked figures. In ‘Where I Lay,’ the masked figure is going to be me. Since ‘Where I Lay’ is about feeling like you don’t belong; it’s almost this idea that the reason I was being chased in ‘Afraid To Die’ is because I never really was supposed to be part of the group of masked figures to begin with. It’s like you’re wearing [Read More]

Mecha Mecha grabs your attention with their dark broody new single, Mourning in the Evening

February 20, 2025

Brisbane based dark indie band Mecha Mecha have just released a personal brooding new track that will capture your attention. The song Mourning in the Evening will definitely resonate as it shares the worst part of a breakup. What they have to say about the new track, Probably our most personal song, there isn’t really a nice way to put it. It’s epic, but extremely vulnerable, and honestly pretty scary to put out there. The fear of releasing the song has probably inhibited the release process a bit. Getting the balance right of not airing dirty laundry, but keeping the song’s integrity has been tricky.  It’s about losing the one, not the one that got away, but THE one, but from the perspective of the person leaving.  Esoterically, it’s just a comment on how life often seems to hit us with everything in one go, and we push on, the silver lining of rain clouds acting as a lighthouse that guides you through whatever storm it is you’re traversing.  But lyrically, it’s just a [Read More]
