Americana/Country Artist Erick Beau Premieres Official Music Video “Coming Home”

Montreal artist Erick Beau releases new video for his track Coming Home. Check out the news below:

During recent times of self-quarantining, most of us take being home for granted. Montreal artist Erick Beau has traveled the world and is always excited to come home. He shows this excitement in his new music video for his latest single, “Coming Home,” a song he wrote after being stranded away from home for eight weeks. After a successful 30-year career in law, Beau also comes home to his true passion: music. Today, he premieres the new video that he co-produced with his wife, MJ Michaud. The video premiered today on Americana Highways, who says the song “gets inside your head and sets up a grooving catharsis.”

On the song, Beau teamed up with Montreal producer Michael Benjoar, to co-produce his debut album, What it Takes, coming out in May 2021. To record the album, Beau recruited some of the top session musicians in Nashville, including drummer Hubert Payne, from country group Little Big Town, and multi-instrumentalist Andy Ellison on steel guitar, guitar and banjo. Due to the COVID pandemic, Beau recorded his guitar and vocals in Montreal while the other musicians recorded their tracks in Nashville. Beau also worked with Grammy nominee Eric Torres and Georgetown Mastering for the mixing and mastering of the tracks.

Check out the new video, the song is from his debut album What it Takes, set to be released in May 2021. Look out for more singles and music videos from the same album in the coming months.

About the artist:

Born on a Canadian air force base in Nova Scotia, Beau grew up in a musical home. He first studied violin and later took up the guitar to write songs. He also studied voice and was performing with various bands by age 12. He later signed a production and licensing deal by 18. As a rebellious teen, he refused to embrace the music industry’s demands and instead turned to studying law. While pursuing his legal career, he continued to write songs in his spare time. Now in his 50s, Beau is ready to circle back to his true love and share his music with the world.
