Today Motley Crue held a press conference in Hollywood at Beacher’s Madhouse Theater to release as they said, “The Biggest Announcement of Their Career”. Last week during the NAMM convention, we had received the confirmation that Alice Cooper was going to be on their Farewell Tour but of course, since it was all “off the record” we respectfully held back on our reports.  Eddie Trunk (That Metal Show) did tweet a photo earlier this month that was to be the ad for the FINAL Tour. The tweet has since been deleted and it was later described as a mock up of a rumor, but here is the photo:

Those are the first set of dates, I am sure it will continue to include overseas dates. I would love it if they would end their Farewell Tour where it all began at The Whisky a-Go-Go in Hollywood. That would be an epic finish! Some more great news is The Dirt will be turned into a full feature film and there will be a Country Motley Crue Tribute Album!! A lot of great news for Motley Crue fans and yes, this will be the FINAL Tour. The band even worked with their attorney to sign a Cessation of Touring Agreement.

So make sure to tune in tonight as Motley Crue performs on Jimmy Kimmel LIVE. You can also start saving up your money so you can get your VIP tickets to their Farewell Tour. RIP Motley Crue!!
