There are metal shows… and then there are nights like The Godless IV Tour when the intensity hits on another level entirely.
When Behemoth brought their relentless force to The Regency Ballroom on April 15th, it wasn’t just a concert, it was a full-on assault that left the crowd stunned and exhilarated.
The night kicked off strong with Immolation, who came in with incredible energy and absolutely shredded the stage. Their set leaned heavy into their older material while still showcasing tracks from their newer album and the crowd was loving every second of it. The mix of old and new hit perfectly, keeping the momentum high right from the start.
Rotting Christ traveled all the way from Greece and brought a powerful, immersive presence that had the California crowd in awe. Their stage presence was intense and captivating, feeding off the crowd while giving that energy right back. From crushing riffs to thunderous drums, their set built into a full-blown frenzy, with a solid circle pit forming as the energy surged through the room.
Then came Deicide, who delivered exactly what the die-hard fans came for. Their set was stacked with fan favorites, and it was incredible to see fans calling out for deeper cuts—only to lose their minds when the band actually delivered. It was intensity at 150%, a relentless set that proved just how dialed in they are with their audience.
By the time Behemoth hit the stage, the energy in the venue was already through the roof. They came out to thunderous pounding, and Nergal had the crowd riled up from the very first moment he stepped on stage. The engagement was nonstop with Nergal commanding the room while the bassist and guitarist worked every inch of the stage, making sure everyone in that venue was giving it everything they had.
From the moment the lights dropped, the crowd didn’t hold back, circle pits, nonstop movement, and pure adrenaline took over the floor. Behemoth’s performance was explosive, theatrical, and absolutely ferocious. Every song hit with precision and power, delivering a set that felt both massive and deeply immersive.
By the end of the night, one thing was undeniable, this wasn’t just aobut one band, it was a complete showcase of extreme metal. It was a stacked lineup of power, energy and connection between the bands and the fans. It was a true reminder of just how alive and unstoppable the metal scene continues to be. Now it is your turn to keep showing up and support live music!
