Trivium unleashed themselves in San Francisco

Last week on October 15th Trivium gave a hell of a show at The Regency Ballroom in San Francisco. We got there in time to see DevilDriver open up for them and they did a kick ass show as well. Then Trivium came out and just unleashed their ferocious selves on San Francisco! It was great to watch and see the action in the pit as well as everyone around. They were all having a great time. Check out a tribute video that Rockin Ryan put together to “BLACK” that includes footage and photos from the night. One thing is for sure, these four guys come out blazing and don’t stop until they step off that stage. Stage presence is spectacular as their energy is just non stop. MYSTERY from Australia is our Tuesdays Travels Pick of the Week

So you think I forgot about telling you our Tuesdays Travels pick of the week? Hell no! It was a busy music day but tonight I want to introduce you to our Tuesdays Travels Band from Melbourne, Australia. MYSTERY is a kick ass band of four young talented rockers. At first look, you may think they are just another School of Rock band or some kids playing their dad’s instruments. Well, after you take one listen to them, you will know these four young artists mean business with their rock. They have a great rock metal sound that blends everything from AC/DC to Skid Row to Bon Jovi to Iron Maiden. Motorhead release “Aftershock” Today!

Today is the day for the new release, “Aftershock” by Motörhead. Talk about a band that can keep putting out incredible in your face original “heavy rocky n roll”. Here is a band that is coming up on a 40 year history and is still rockin like the first years. Lemmy Kilmister started this band back in 1975 and over they years they have had lineup changes with guitar and drums but Lemmy has KICKED ASS throughout. So make sure to head over to your local music store or Itunes and pick up your copy! Some of my absolute favorites are Heartbreaker, Lost Woman Blues, Dust and Glass, Silence When You Speak To Me, and Paralyzed. It is hard because there are a lot to choose from. Katey Sagal debuts her cover of “Free Fallin” today

The multi talented Katey Sagal who you might know as Gemma Teller Morrow on the hit FX Series “Sons of Anarchy” has debuted her cover of Tom Petty’s “Free Fallin” on RollingStone.com today. Although many know of Katey from her acting career, she has had a long standing musical career that included the release of two solo albums, performing back up vocals for Bob Dylan, Gene Simmons, Bette Midler and Tanya Tucker as well as contributing music to the “Sons Of Anarchy” soundtrack. One thing is for sure, Katey has such an amazing voice that not only emotionally draws you in but her powerful vocals wrap around you as if to keep you safe. The Charm The Fury album is a must for modern day metal fans!

Last month we introduced you to the band from the Netherlands, The Charm The Fury as our Tuesdays Travels Pick of the Week. Well, we have been enjoying their debut album which was released in September, “A Shade of My Former Self”. This full length album is truly remarkable and for a debut album, packs a lot of punch! This metalcore band has been dubbed as Holland’s “best kept secret” and they are taking the world by storm with their edgy yet aggressive style.
