As you may already know we are heading out to NAMM in Anaheim in just a couple weeks. Besides getting to check out the latest in music gear as well as get to see and talk to so many interesting musicians, I always look forward to what the nightlife brings during NAMM week. Every year, in addition to the long days at the Anaheim Convention Center there is a multitude of great bands playing throughout the Southern California area and all are hoping that you get to check them out. I have so many shows planned to cover for that week and I just recently added another one to my schedule. After listening to them I had to fit them in! Jeff George The guitarist/composer extraordinaire, Jeff George has a busy year planned ahead of him. He was hand picked by Sebastian Bach to be his new guitarist in September of 2012 and is also currently in Harlot with Danny Worsnop of Asking Alexandria. Hotel Diablo is the 11th gift of 12 Days of Christmas Rock!

12 Days of Rock Christmas! Day 11 On the 11th day of Christmas my Rock and Roll love gave to me some awesome rock with Hotel Diablo. This band puts together 80’s inspired rock and roll, complete with the power ballads, shredding guitars, strong vocals and octane level energy! Hotel Diablo was formed in 2011 by one of the hardest working guitarists, Alex Grossi and dynamic vocalist Rick Stitch. These guys then completed the perfect union with precision bass by Mike Duda and adrenaline fed drums by Mike Dupke. Together they serve up some intense rock for you that we have all been craving. Earlier this year they released their full length album The Return to Psycho California through Scarlet Records. Day 10 is Jettblack for 12 Days of Christmas Rock

12 Days of Rock Christmas! Day 10 On the 10th day of Christmas my Rock and Roll love gave to me some off the hook hard rock with Jettblack from across the pond. Okay my 80’s and 90’s Rock lovers out there, here is another awesome high powered, energy driven rock band that you are going to fall in love with. I promise on this one! These guys deliver the goods and by the way, it is so nicely packaged… Jettblack are four rockers from High Wycombe, England and started back in 2007. They have cited their influences as “Anything up until 1994”. Well these guys have been touring Europe and we are waiting for our turn to Rock out to this fantastic band. Their music has everything from hot guitar licks, smoking riffs, melodic chorus, heavy basslines and rockin drums. 12 Days of Rock Christmas! Day 8 On the 8th day of Christmas my Rock and Roll love gave to me some Guilty Pleasure by Gone For Days. I have been enjoying the rockin’ sound from this four piece band for the past year. If you have not heard of them, well you are just plain missing out. They are one of the bands that I first heard of through Octane Channel on Sirius Radio. I tend to get a long of my new finds from their late night radio play and it is great to see the song’s get increased airplay as the weeks go by and climb up the charts on the Octane Big ‘Uns Countdown and request charts. They have a sound that resonates Hard Rock with touches of Southern Rock and mixed in with emotionally driven vocals. 12 Days of Rock Christmas! Day 6 On the 6th day of Christmas my Rock and Roll love gave to me an incredible treasure from down under called Tracer. This one took me by surprise since the second I heard it, I was grinning from ear to ear as if I had just won the lottery. I quietly crept into Rockin Ryan’s Garage to plug in my favorite pair of Marshall headphones so I could really take a good listen to this band. I needed to make sure what I was hearing was just as awesome I thought it was… Well verdict IN. YES, it was. It was a gift of sweet classic rock soaked in grungy sweat that just tickled my senses! Judging from the intense and larger than life sound that Tracer delivers, it is hard to believe that it is just three guys in this band. 12 Days of Rock Christmas! Day 4 On the 4th day of Christmas my Rock and Roll love gave to me some high energy rock from Man Made Machine. Get ready people, you are going to love this band! They have been described as a full-octane rock and metal sound. When you listen to them you will instantly be banging your head with fists in the air and ready to ROCK! Even though they had many labels approaching them, they inked a record deal with Razor & Tie to debut their album “BECOME”. Now this gets even better when you throw in the fact that it is produced by Chad Gray and Greg Tribbett (Mudvayne/HellYeah) and mixed by Jeremy Parker (Godsmack/Evanescence).
