Skindred share lyric video for ‘Struggle’

Skindred have revealed a brand-new lyric video for the track ‘Struggle’, which is previously unreleased and is featured on the upcoming re-release of Roots Rock Riot, which will be out on April 23rd, 2021 via Hassle Hindsight (Membran). The very timely and poignant new song ‘Struggle’ is an acoustic track, and although not the typical Skindred sound, showcases the band’s prowess as powerful songwriters. Gojira release new single ‘Amazonia’

Two times Grammy nominees Gojira released a brand-new single ‘Amazonia’ from their highly anticipated new album ‘Fortitude’, which will be out April 30th through Roadrunner Records. ‘Amazonia’ is available on all streaming platforms. The video was directed by Charles de Meyer on different locations in Brasil.  De Meyer has been working with multiple moviemakers (Vincent Moon, Hauxplay, Jennifer Kumiko Hayashi and Midia Ninja) to get an unfiltered view on the life and fight of indigenous tribes there. The proceeds of the song will be for the benefit of the organization Articulation of Indigenous Peoples of Brazil (APIB), which advocates for the environmental and cultural rights of indigenous tribes in the Amazonas area, which suffered immensely – victims of deforestation, land loss, forced labour, violence and harassment. Avatar announce the release of their new record ‘Hunter Gatherer’

Four days ago Swedish Melodic Death-Metal band Avatar officially closed the cycle of their latest record “Avatar Country” with a short video thanking the fans and summing up the years 2016 until now. ‘Avatar Country’ was more than ‘just’ a record. There was a concept and a story behind this album. They toured the world with it and even made a movie with the help of crowd-funding. If you haven’t seen it yet, you should really catch up. Avatar share ‚Legend Of Avatar Country: A Metal Odyssey’

In late 2018 Avatar started a Kickstarter Campaign to finance the making of an extended documentary on their latest record ‘The Legend Of The King’. At the time that we’re writing this, we have released music videos for ’A Statue of the King’, ’the King Wants You’ and ’the King Welcomes You to Avatar Country’. They have all gotten a great reception and with three music videos recorded and released, our record labels have fulfilled their commitment when it comes to promoting the album Avatar Country and we are very happy with our working relationship.
