Legendary Guitarist Peter Frampton to Receive The Les Paul Innovation Award at NAMM 2019

  Each year during NAMM. the prestigious Les Paul Innovation Award is given out to honor those individuals who personify the innovative thinking of Les Paul.  Coming up in 2019, the award will be given to legendary guitarist Peter Frampton.  The award will be given during the 34th Annual NAMM Technical Excellence and Creative Awards. Check out the latest Guitar News from PRS Private Stock: (STEVENSVILLE, MD) December 5, 2018 – PRS Private Stock is proud to announce the McCarty 594 “Graveyard II” Limited Edition model. Earlier this year, PRS announced an eighty-piece limited run of Private Stock “Graveyard” guitars based on the vintage-inspired McCarty 594 model. The Graveyard II also takes the McCarty 594 model as its platform, but adds a unique aesthetic.   The Wood   In early 2018, PRS purchased more than 150 curly maple tops from the outskirts of a Graveyard on top of a moun­tain on the East Coast of the USA. The Gravestones were dated around 1884, and the trees were clearly at least that old as they were forty feet to the first limb. War Twins will be premiering some of their upcoming releases recorded with Sylvia Massy live during a string of shows on the east coast later this month, beginning on Tuesday March 20th in New York City alongside The Worst Humans and Micky James. Micky James will also be joining the power duo that Thursday in Philadelphia. War Twins will conclude the string of east coast shows with a hometown Boston show, Monday, the 26th of March alongside Carissa Johnson. The band will release music off the new record throughout the year, with plans of national tour dates this summer. Don’t miss it! We have so many exciting things to share with you all from our NAMM trip! Of course, it wouldn’t be NAMM without an interview with one of the hardest working musicians, Justin Emord of Love and a .38. Justin started his NAMM week off early with  NAMM’s Foundation Day of Service helping kids learn music. His band also performed at the new NAMM Arena Plaza Stage on Friday and they truly rocked the stage! Justin also gave a very informative seminar on acquiring sponsorships and he even acquired several new sponsorships himself.   On our last day of 100 Days of NAMM, we want remind you about the great performances. Kicking off the show on Thursday night, January 19 is rock duo RSO: Richie Sambora and Orianthi.
