Check out the new lusciously dreamy track, Middle of the Night by Vinyl Thief

July 8, 2014

Vinyl Thief from Nashville are dishing out a new dreamy electropop rock track that I think you will enjoy. They are premiering their new song, Middle of the Night which brings back the 90’s alternative rock vibe meshed with perfect amount of electronics and dreaminess. It is a luscious dreamy song that I love. Check it out here:   Middle of the Night comes off their new album, Fathoms which is set for a July 22nd release. About the band’s new track, “Middle of The Night,” Vinyl Thief frontman, Grayson Proctor explains, “This song came together at the very end of the album process. I was lying awake in our manager’s apartment at 4am in New York after a gig. I’ve always loved being awake at that point of the night. It almost feels like everyone around you is on pause and you get to experience things completely on your own.” He continues,“I sang the melody and the lyrics “who’s gonna hold you, in the middle of the night” into my phone and didn’t think twice about it. We revisited it later and the three [Read More]

The Lost Boys set to release Sleepless Nights on July 16 and will perform select dates on Warped Tour

July 7, 2014

The Lost Boys are set to release their new EP Sleepless Nights at midnight on July 16th. The EP was produced by Tyler Smith of Dangerkids (Rise Records). The five track EP is filled with fun, energetic songs with emotionally driven lyrics. It can be described as a pop punk but as they say, ‘The Lost Boys aren’t trying to fit into any style or genre, they want to leave their audience thinking about the stories they tell’. That is exactly what they deliver, solid well crafted songs delivered in a fun energetic sound. Lost Boy has a great anthemic youth vibe that will have you singing along in no time. Bad Names is my personal favorite with it’s catchy chorus and high spirited sound yet Overreaction has a very infectious beat and reminds me of a Blink 182 vibe. They in no way imitate because they really have their own sound that can stand on it own. The EP is the perfect soundtrack for your summer of “feel good” songs to bring your spirit back to life.
