Reef release brand new single “Best Of Me”

March 28, 2022

Glastonbury quartet Reef have released their brand new single, ‘Best Of Me’, accompanied by a brilliant lyric video, which brings their album art to life, featuring musical skeletons, wolfman skateboarders, and glorious animation. A stomping AC/DC-style rocker, it’s another intoxicating taste of their forthcoming new album, “Shoot Me Your Ace”, out on April 29th (release date recently pushed back a couple of weeks) and sure to set rooms alight on their headline tour next month. “We want this album to make people just feel good about living, to appreciate life, to give them inspiration to play guitar or drums or sing or whatever they’ve got going on right now,” comments bassist Jack Bessant. “We’ve made a killer rock’n’roll record. And we want to go out and rock.” One of the most exciting rock albums of recent years, “Shoot Me Your Ace” is a thrilling blast of unadulterated rock’n’roll joy. It doesn’t just match such classic Reef albums as 1995 breakout debut “Replenish” or 1997’s transcendent “Glow” but exceeds them. “Shoot Me Your Ace” will be [Read More]

Telltale announce new EP – title track out now!

February 24, 2022

Rock band Telltale has today announced their new EP “Lie Your Way Out” is set to be released on March 25th via European label Rude Records. The EP features recent singles “COBAIN”, “Slowburn,” and “Out Of Control!” as well as newly released title track “Lie Your Way Out”. “This record is our viewpoint on being a part of the apocalyptic generation” the band shares. “We obsess over zombie films, live in fear of the daily news, and constantly foresee the end of the world. Or rather, the world as we know it. A generation written off as lazy and self-centered, we’re taught to think that something broken can’t be fixed from within”. They continue: “Movies I grew up on, like The Hunger Games, taught us that to make change, you have to topple this big establishment. But the most simple and effective tool we have is embracing our individuality. We’re taught that the arts are inviable, and that society’s rules are firm. But maybe we were taught wrong. Pick up that guitar, drive cross-country to [Read More]

Puppy release music video for “…And Watched It Glow”

February 15, 2022

London rock band, PUPPY, have released the official music video for their new song “…And Watched It Glow”. The song is taken from the band’s upcoming new album “Pure Evil”, which will be released on May 6th through Rude Records. The song had its world premiere on Radio 1 with the Rock Show and is the third single to be released from the new album, following “Angel” and “The Kiss”, the latter picking up plays with Radio 1’s Jack Saunders and Clara Amfo, as well as being listed by Revolver Magazine as a track of the week. “Pure Evil” is an album created, like so much music and art the last few years, from a forced upon circumstance. Whilst obviously not influencing any of it in any way, the current pandemic has certainly created a specific path for PUPPY and this brilliant album, for good and bad. Vocalist and guitarist Jock Norton explains a bit about marrying creative drive with a global health meltdown, “We had to dig fairly deep to find the purpose in [Read More]
