Sick of It All announce tour dates and premiere new song, Get Bronx

September 23, 2014

Sick of It All have announce US tour dates for their upcoming tour in support of their soon to be released album, Last Act of Defiance. The album is set for a September 30th. Sick of It All have just premiered their new song, Get Bronx which is off the forthcoming album. “GET BRONX is a term we came up with and use amongst a group of our friends in the NYHC scene. It is used to describe the point that is passed push coming to shove, when you go all out. Musically the song is a hybrid throwback fusing some early punk type chord changes with a late 80’s NYHC style groove. The ending clearly Black Sabbath influenced and well… Geezer rules!” Check out the song here: You can pick up the new album next Tuesday or get some Sick Of It All merch bundles with a pre-order here: http://www.cmdistro.com/Search/last_act_of_defiance.  Check the tour dates below and see if they will be coming to a venue near you: 9/27/2014 Reverb/ Tsunami Fest Reading PA 10/4/2014 Irving [Read More]

September 23, 2014

The Relapse Symphony have released two brand new music videos for “One More Yesterday” & “Savage Eyes” These are easily two of our favorite songs from the album Shadows. The video for Savage Eyes has a mysterious old time horror film vibe, which really fits the song well. One More Yesterday delivers a cinematic portrayal of a funeral for Bret and was inspired by J.C.’s concept. It includes cameo appearances from members of Burn Halo, Dead Rabbitts and more.  Check them both out below “One More Yesterday” : “Savage Eyes” : We have been telling you for months now about how awesome the new album, Shadows by The Relapse Symphony is and you can pick it up on  iTunes here.  Make sure to check our full album review here. September 22, 2014

Friday night was a night many would not soon forget. It was the final night of Linkin Park‘s Carnivores Tour with special guests AFI and Thirty Seconds to Mars. After watching the great sets by AFI and TSTM, the time came for Linkin Park to light up the Concord Pavilion. They started right off with their hit single, Guilty All The Same. The crowd went wild and you knew it was going to be a stellar night. The stage set up was spectacular and featured an incredibly dynamic light show. Many people remarked about how the sound was superb and Linkin Park performed with full 150% energy and delivered a near studio quality sound, if not surpassing the studio sound with the added benefit of intensity.  Check out a slideshow of photos from the set by our Rockin Ryan here: The setlist was unbelievable as they played a wide array of songs from all albums as well as fan favorites, solos, medleys and more. September 22, 2014

Set It Off are premiering a new song, N.M.E. which is off their forthcoming album, Duality and is set for a release of October 14th via Equal Vision Records. It is a really catchy track that will definitely have you anticipating the new album. I know I am really excited to hear more from Set it Off. Check out the song here: “This song was so fun to work on and an incredible learning experience,” shares Set It Off vocalist Cody Carson. “When this song was being written, we were in the studio with Neal Avron (Fall Out Boy, New Found Glory). He produced two of my favorite records of all time (From Under The Cork Tree, Sticks and Stones) and was so full of knowledge. He really upped my game in melody writing. So I would try over and over again on each one until I found the one that really stuck out to me. In this song I had a lot of anger to get out. This girl was stealing my friend [Read More]

The Family Ruin album Dearly Departed releases tomorrow and catch them out on tour!

September 22, 2014

The UK bad ass band, The Family Ruin are just hours away from the release of their album, Dearly Departed on KBB Records.  The album officially releases in the US on 9/23 and 9/29 for Europe.  This is one album that we have been so excited for you to all hear. It is definitely one killer album filled with high energy tracks and a great display of musicianship by these five guys. The Family Ruin have really been garnering a lot of well deserved attention since singing with KBB Records, the new record label of Asking Alexandria’s Ben Bruce and co-manager Kyle Borman. The Family Ruin have a very fresh new sound complete with hard and heavy riffs blended with infectious harmonies, where they blend their metal and alternative influences with melodic hard rock. There is something for everyone in their sound. Think about a mix of Avenged Sevenfold with Escape the Fate. Dearly Departed is definitely a must have album. In case you missed it, check out our recent review of Dearly Departed here. We are very [Read More]
