It was last year when I first introduced you to the awesome band, Biters. Today they released another video and it is STELLAR! It is for their song “So Many Nights” which is off of their album, Last of a Dying Breed. The video is once again directed, shot and edited by Rahim. You are going to love this one. When I first heard BITERS, I was literally taken aback with their sound. I couldn’t help but crank it up louder and lounder and push replay and repeat just so I would be sure that I am hearing correctly. I fell INSTANTLY IN LOVE! It was pure ear porn!
As I wrote in my previous post:
“My son asked me earlier to check out a band for him. I put it off since I was working and then just as I was about to go to bed, I saw the note scribbled by him…. ‘Check out BITERS – love Hallucination Generation” So I did decided to look them up. I decided to put on the song he recommended, “Hallucination Generation” and it was like I was sucked back into my youth. I was enjoying everything from Ramones, Cheap Trick Sex Pistols, old style Bowie. I was LOVING this. I was sure my son had it wrong and this had to be some old band that is definitely not around anymore. Then, I got excited to find out that he was right! They are a band today and they NEED TO BE HEARD! I just can’t wait to hear more from these guys. Truly love their sound and it is best described on their bio as:
“Biters are a rock and roll band hailing from Hatecity and upon first listen you know they are the real deal. Steeped in rock tradition, this young group blends the alchemic mixture of louder than Hendrix volume with a heaping elixir of pure brutality. If Tom Petty was assaulted by the Sex Pistols while Stiv Bator was pouring the drinks, that scene would approximate the sound of the Biters.”
