Rocklahoma 2013 Band Feature The next band I am featuring from the Rocklahoma 2013 lineup is a band that my son Rockin Ryan told me about, sort of. He was actually keeping this band a secret for a while teasing me with the incredible rock sound that they bring. I would hear bits of songs that he would be playing in the garage and would have to ask over and over who they were. They just reminded me of my fun times on the Sunset Strip in the 80’s and I wanted to know if they were a new or an old band that I had missed. Rocklahoma 2013 Band Feature I have a great new Nasty Habit for you and it will ROCK your World! I am talking about four young guys from New York who are on a mission to bring back Rock and Roll. With their Rock and Roll passion prevalent throughout their rockin songs like “Heart Breakin, Hip Shakin”, “Saturday Night”, and ‘Tripped” it is no wonder they are a part of Rocklahoma 2013! Nasty Habit has Tommy Ende on lead vocals, Kenny Ende on guitar, David Jordan on drums, and Frankie Wheeler on bass. Jettblack is a union of amazing ROCK talent!

I know I covered these guys during my 12 Days of Christmas but I just had to repost them since I can’t stop thinking about them!! How about some off the hook hard rock with Jettblack from across the pond. Okay my 80’s and 90’s Rock lovers out there, here is another awesome high powered, energy driven rock band that you are going to fall in love with. I promise on this one! These guys deliver the goods and by the way, it is so nicely packaged… Jettblack are four rockers from High Wycombe, England and started back in 2007. They have cited their influences as “Anything up until 1994”. Well these guys have been touring Europe and we are waiting for our turn to Rock out to this fantastic band. Their music has everything from hot guitar licks, smoking riffs, melodic chorus, heavy basslines and rockin drums. 12 Days of Rock Christmas! Day 9 On the 9th day of Christmas my Rock and Roll love gave to me some sexy glam rock from Crashdiet. I have been transported back in my time machine and I am walking down the Sunset Strip in the mid 1980’s. Up and down the strip I can catch a show, anything from Glam Metal, Hair Bands, or even some Punk shows. I have my favorite pair of fringed white Zodiac Boots, bright zebra print top and my short pink skirt. Of course I have my hair in my high upstyle and tons of hairspray. I am ready to check out some bands and rock out. That is what Crashdiet brings back to me. This band from England is going to be on the tip of all your tongues in 2013, mark my words. These four guys have a stadium rock sound that needs to be unleashed here in the States. They deliver rock that has just received 1000 volts of power. Caution! The defibrillator paddles have been brought out and just brought old school Rock and Roll ALIVE!!! Heaven’s Basement has invigorated music and it is exactly what we need more of. They are just getting back to England from touring Europe and treating those lucky concertgoers to melt your face ROCK! Rock N for a Cure Benefit Concert not to be MISSED!!

First, I have to tell you that I have learned about so many of my childhood and high school friends who are battling this ugly disease of Cancer and it really makes me want to scream. It humbles me to hear about them being in the fight of their life and I want to be there to support them and give them strength. To be their Rock! Well I am sure many of you know sisters, mothers, aunts, grandmothers, friends and family who have Breast Cancer and now you can ROCK OUT as we help find a cure!
