Carla Harvey from Butcher Babies announces date for book release party and book signing

August 20, 2014

The ladies from Butcher Babies are amazing front women and talented beauties. Carla Harvey will be releasing her upcoming novel, Death and Other Dances on August 25th in select bookstores as well as Amazon, Amazon Europe, and Kindle. This semi-autobiographical work tells the story of Autumn Franklin – an awkward, biracial Detroit native – that is disconnected from her peers at an early age because of her background. When Autumn’s young parents divorce, she becomes even more withdrawn, yet survives the cards that she’s been dealt by relocating to the alluring City of Angels, where she has but one goal: to find herself. Struggling to make solid connections with those around her, Autumn swallows her reservations and pushes limits to the extreme as she transitions between a drastic career change: from the bowels of the adult entertainment industry to her rebirth as a mortician. There amongst the dead, she learns what it is to live, love, and to allow others inside, finally landing in the most comfortable place of all: her own skin. You can read an [Read More]

Butcher Babies at the Regency Ballroom in San Francisco for Golden Gods Tour

June 8, 2014

This weekend was once again filled with incredible shows to cover and incredible sets by many awesome bands, check out our coverage of Devil You Know here and Black Label Society here. Friday night we were at the Regency Ballroom in San Francisco for the Revolver Golden Gods Tour. The night started off with a fierce set by one of my favorite bands, Butcher Babies. We had a blast covering them last year at the Monster Energy Aftershock Festival and were glad to see them back. This band is never short on energy as they were determined to start the night off with a bang. The crowd was packed and I believe it was a sold out, or nearly sold out show. The best part was that everyone got there early enough to catch the full set of Butcher Babies. Vocalists Heidi and Carla truly know how to command the audience as they had everyone under their Butcher Babies spell. Check out the photos of our Rockin Ryan here of their set: We are so [Read More]

Butcher Babies release video for “Magnolia Blvd.”

September 5, 2013

BUTCHER BABIES release their video for “Magnolia Blvd.”  and it is definitely one to watch! This is their first music  video from their debut album, “Goliath” and was directed by Daniel Gomez (EYES SET TO KILL, BUCKCHERRY). I love the concept behind the video and I appreciate the fact that it didn’t have an overly gorey scene which seems to be so prevalent in today’s musici scene. Check out the video here:   BUTCHER BABIES have been garnering a lot attention and were hailed as the breakout band on the 2013 Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival. They are set to head out in support of DANZIG and have also been added to the SHIPROCKED CRUISE in January. Check the tour dates below and get yourself to a show! Their live performance will have you adrenaline filled and screaming for MORE! ~ Marisol Upcoming Tour Dates: SEPTEMBER 14: Sacramento, CA – Discovery Park  BUTCHER BABIES with DANZIG: OCTOBER 08: Ft.
