To celebrate the end of the US “Onyx” tour we caught up with Matt DiRito & Pop Evil at The Machine Shop in Flint, Michigan. The band wanted to play the last show in their home state before heading overseas. They wanted to give their incredible fans a special treat by playing their 1st single, “Footsteps” off of their upcoming album “Up” for the first time. Leigh thanked fans for traveling from all over the US & Canada to celebrate their last show. Their fans are a rare bunch traveling with the band to many shows. Connie Malone and her 76 year old mother Ann made the trip all the way from Texas. Terri Wollovetz said that she had been to over 20 of their shows. The fans stood in line wearing ponchos for several hours of heavy rain just to hear them play. Bad Pollyanna and Sophie Lancaster Foundation release sensational charity single to honor Sophie Lancaster

It has been seven years since the brutal murder of Sophie Lancaster who was killed simply because she looked different in someone else’s eyes. A beautiful young girl who was murdered simply because she was a follower of a different culture, had a different look. From that senseless attack, what else can someone do except try to bring light to what was not an isolated incident and help others. The Sophie Lancaster Foundation was created by her mother as a lasting legacy to her daughter and she has dedicated her life to changing attitudes and to make it a safer place for alternative subcultures. Inspiring teenager, Stephen Sutton dies after battle with cancer, he raised over $5.4 million in donations

Stephen Sutton, the inspirational young teenager who battled cancer has died.  Stephen was diagnosed with cancer at age 15 and through his Stephen’s Story site, he touched the hearts of many. What began as a bucket list for him, turned into an amazing fund raising effort that his hard to believe.  Stephen has raised over $5.4 MILLION dollars in donations for the Teenage Cancer Trust. Just a few days ago, Stephen posted on his Facebook page that he was returning to the hospital due to breathing difficulties and recently Stephen’s mother made the following post: My heart is bursting with pride but breaking with pain for my courageous, selfless, inspirational son who passed away peacefully in his sleep in the early hours of this morning, Wednesday 14th May. 3 DOORS DOWN announce acoustic tour in 2014!

3 Doors Down recently performed at their 10th anniversary of THE BETTER LIFE FOUNDATION. The Better Life Foundation helps bring a positive change in the lives of children in need of food, shelter, and medical assistance, and to enhance the lives of children and young adults with special needs.  Every year funds are raised an distributed to organizations and hospitals that help fulfill the band’s mission. Today, 3 Doors Down announce an acoustic tour which is set for January 2014 with their first stop being in Reno, Nevada. The tour will be called “Songs From The Basement” where they will be playing many of their biggest hits and fan favorites in an acoustic intimate setting.
