Devil You Know is a crowd favorite at Regency Ballroom for Golden Gods Tour

June 8, 2014

Earlier we brought you our coverage of Butcher Babies and of course headliners, Black Label Society from their Friday night sets at the Regency Ballroom for the Golden Gods Tour. Now let me tell you about the Devil You Know. If you haven’t heard of them, you WILL definitely be hearing about them. This band is of supergroup caliber and is brimming with amazing talent. You might think it was a new band; but it has been nearly five years in the making and started with guitarist Francesco Artusato (All Shall Perish, Francesco Artusato Project) and drummer John Sankey (Devolved, Fear Factory Divine Heresy) wanting to branch out beyond their metal backgrounds. Butcher Babies at the Regency Ballroom in San Francisco for Golden Gods Tour

June 8, 2014

This weekend was once again filled with incredible shows to cover and incredible sets by many awesome bands, check out our coverage of Devil You Know here and Black Label Society here. Friday night we were at the Regency Ballroom in San Francisco for the Revolver Golden Gods Tour. The night started off with a fierce set by one of my favorite bands, Butcher Babies. We had a blast covering them last year at the Monster Energy Aftershock Festival and were glad to see them back. This band is never short on energy as they were determined to start the night off with a bang. The crowd was packed and I believe it was a sold out, or nearly sold out show. The best part was that everyone got there early enough to catch the full set of Butcher Babies. Vocalists Heidi and Carla truly know how to command the audience as they had everyone under their Butcher Babies spell. Check out the photos of our Rockin Ryan here of their set: We are so [Read More]

Revolver Golden Gods Awards 2013 Viewing Party Guide

March 13, 2013

Party Planning Guide for Revolver Golden Gods Awards 2013! As you know from my recent post about the Oscars, we don’t throw parties to watch the award shows unless it is the Revolver Golden Gods Awards. Well, with the awards being only 6+ weeks ago, we have to get started in planning your perfect Revolver Golden Gods Awards Viewing Party!  The date for the show is May 2, 2013. 4 to 5 Weeks before your party Make an Invitation List. Here is where you have to really tailor your list to the right audience. When you are drawing up your list of names; ask yourself some questions about the guests so you know you are targeting the right guests. The last thing you want at your party is someone asking over and over is Kanye going to sing?,  or Who is Metallica? or even worse, what is this Revolver thing – thought it was a gun??? Time to show them the door and you may want to rethink them as your friend at that point!! [Read More]
