Sick of It All unleash a fierce live video for Get Bronx

March 7, 2015

Sick of It All have just kicked off their South American tour yesterday with a show in Mexico. They will be unleashing their high energy sets on the crowd and to get you ready, check out their new video for their song, Get Bronx: Drummer Armand Majidi about the song and video: “‘Get Bronx’ is a hard-hitting groove with a message of defiance against the modern powers of oppression. This video serves to show people across the world that as gritty and unpretentious as hardcore music is, it still translates to the big stage and doesn’t need a tiny, intimate atmosphere to work.  When a big club pulsates like that, the spirit of hardcore is kept alive.“ Upcoming Tour Dates: South America: 06.03.2015 (MX) Mexico City – Sala Puebla 08.03.2015 (CO) Bogota – Teatro Las Vegas 10.03.2015 (CL) Santiago – Arena Recoleta 11.03.2015 (AR) Buenos Aires – Teatro Flores 13.03.2015 (BR) Rio De Janeiro – Teatro Odisseia 14.03.2015 (BR) Sao Paulo – Clash Club 15.03.2015 (BR) Curitiba – Music Hall   North America: 20.03.2015 (USA) [Read More]

Check out a live video performance by Cold Lungs of their upcoming new EP New Pictures/Old Frames

February 21, 2015

On the southside of Edmonton in the dead of winter, Cold Lungs set out to gather friends from the local hardcore scene to record their first live video. It was shot entirely live off the floor in the practice space for Cold Lungs and a few other local bands. Chad Steeves Photography, Firth Photography, and a couple of GoPro’s captured the madness that ensued. The entire EP New Pictures//Old Frames was played front to back (along with 2 older songs) by 3 frenzied young men. This video represents two parts: one dim and the other grim, the black and white filming gives viewers a sense of the atmosphere and the loud abrasive music showcases the aggression of the Edmonton Hardcore scene. Justin (Bass and Vocals) comments: “This video couldn’t have happened without the help of these insanely talented people we’re lucky to call our friends.. Alley Kat brewery were also kind enough to give us a keg of beer, and a ton of people were kind enough to drink said beer and trash our basement. [Read More]

BlessTheFall ignite a wave of crowd surfers out on the Moving On Tour

December 3, 2014

Blessthefall were another great band to check out on the Moving On Tour. This was the first time for us catching them perform live and they were incredible. The crowd at the Regency Ballroom in San Francisco were definitely ready to heavy it up by the time Blessthefall hit the stage. From the second they hit the stage, the intense wave of crowd surfers began. It was like a sea of legs in the air and sweat flying across the venue. They kicked ass and I am already looking forward to the next time they return to San Francisco.  The energy these guys bring out is unreal and they had the crowd under their spell. You can catch Blessthefall out on the remaining dates of The Moving On Tour.
