Check out Terror at Warped Tour for your fix of hardcore!

July 2, 2014

I love the variety of music that Vans Warped Tour brings out. Where else can you go from an EDM band to an acoustic set and then head right into the circle pit? At this year’s Warped Tour, that’s where!  If you have been craving a heavy dose of hardcore and need your fix for a circle pit, make sure to check out Terror. The long established band, Terror from Los Angeles have been delivering fierce hardcore music since 2002 and in no way has let up on their unrelenting energetic sets. Check out a video from Warped Tour’s first webcast of Terror here: Terror is Scott Vogel on Vocals, Nick Jett on Drums, Jordan Posner  and Martin Stewart on Guitars and David Wood on Bass. We had the chance to talk with Nick Jett, drummer of Terror before his set at the Wheatland Warped Tour date and are pleased to bring that interview to you: Terror will be performing on the full Warped Tour and you can find them on the Monster Stage. Check out our interview with Mattie of For Today and catch them on Warped Tour!

July 1, 2014

This year’s Vans Warped Tour has a lot of great bands and an amazing array of music which will satisfy everyone’s needs. I was excited when I heard that For Today would be playing on the Kia Soul Stage. They will be on the entire tour and they put on an amazing set. They come out and give 150% energy on the stage and the crowd is instantly adrenalized. Whatever time they are set to play, the crowd gets invigorated by their metal/hardcore set and the energy is contagious. I was ecstatic to catch them twice in the week and each time they delivered a fierce spot on set. We had the chance to chat with the inspring vocalist, Mattie Montgomerey before his set at the Wheatland California date. Mattie is truly one of the nicest guys and always has very inspirational advice. Whether you feel defeated, down, or facing a bump in the road, Mattie is always there to pick you p and let you know you can make it through anything. That is [Read More]

Number Station revives Alternative Hard Rock!

January 8, 2013

Number Station Sometimes you just need your music a bit heavier!! Well if now is that time, Number Station is the band for you. I recently got their EP sampler sent over and it was one of those rare moments. Those moments when I was in the middle of multitasking a hundred things at once, going over the list of things to have to get done and then popping the CD in. The first song that played was “The Invisible Fire” which has a great dark mysterious intro that just blends into a deep hardcore mix. It is like waking yourself up from a long sleep and seeing that you only have a few hours left of the day. So you wake up and give it all you got, energized and ready to scream out to the world. You are full blown energy ready to take on anything and you give everything of yourself. This song just gives and gives!  Here you can take a listen to that incredible song:   Then you get into the [Read More]
