New video out now from It Lies Within, catch them on tour

It Lies Within have just released a video for their new single Trust In Yourself.  The video was shot at the band’s performance at last year’s Dirt Fest, with scenes that look like they could have been shot from The Terminator’s cybernetic point of view.  Vocalist Zachary Scott comments, “This video captures exactly who we are and our appreciation to the fans. We couldn’t do this without them and a huge shout out to Dirt Fest for having us out!“. New single from It Lies Within featuring Telle Smith

It Lies Within and Telle Smith of The Word Alive have teamed up for a new single called “Never Surrender”. The song is off Paramount, It Lies Within’s upcoming sophomore album from Luxor Records. The full-length will be out on 1/8/16 and also features guest vocalist appearances from Ryan Kirby (Fit For A King) and Jonny Mcbee (The Browning). McBee co-produced the album as well with As They Sleepguitarist Nick Morris. Vocalist Zachary Scott says “This is one of the first songs we wrote for our upcoming album ‘Paramount’. It definitely captivates the new sound and maturity of the band. Having Telle Smith be a part of this transition was amazing. New Tour Dates for It Lies Within and Conquer Divide

It Lies Within and Conquer Divide have just started their Get Your Feet Wet Tour last night. This is the next headlining tour for It Lies Within after a tour supporting The Browning in December. he Michigan metalcore outfit, who recently released their newest single, entitled “Reap What You Sow,” is putting the finishing touches on their Jonny Mcbee (of The Browning) and Nick Morris (of As They Sleep) co-produced full length that will be released later this year. They have also announced that they have added Deception of a Ghost’s Kyle Dameron as their new touring guitarist. Music Over Matter Tour Review by Meryl DeWitt

  In the past few years, it’s become apparent screamo is finally making a mark in the music industry. Since it first surfaced in the ’80s, it’s been working hard to get a leg up on the competition. The genre’s recent breakthrough is credited to bands like Bring Me the Horizon and Of Mice & Men, who paved the rough road for many bands to come, but it’s about time some new bands made their way into the scene. On the Music Over Matter Tour, I was able to meet and watch some of these very bands. I caught up with In Light of Us once again, a local Minneapolis band whom I’ve had the pleasure of working with a few times now. Though they’re still in the baby stages, they’re a very talented band with a bright future. In Light of Us has yet to let go of the passion that many bands have lost. It Lies Within announces “Music Over Matter Tour” in August with Curses

It Lies Within, who recently finished up their tour run with One Year Later that included a stop at Driven Fest, just announced that they will be touring this August on the Music Over Matter Tour with Curses. The tour, which is sponsored by Music Over Matter, begins August 1st in Toledo, OH at Frankie’s before ending August 16th in Reading, PA at Reverb. The tour will hit ten states during the span of sixteen weeks. It Lies Within is still touring off their 2012 release, Chrysalis (Luxor Records), while finishing work on their new album. The new release is being produced by Jonny Mcbee of The Browning and will feature new guitarist Alex Maggard and new bassist/singer Erik McKay.
