The Last Dinner Party release new single “Big Dog”

May 8, 2026

Today, The Last Dinner Party released their new single “Big Dog,” a track that’s already become a standout favorite during their live shows. The song was co-produced by the ban, marking their first production credit alongside Animesh Raval. “Big Dog” leans into a darker, more intense art-pop sound with shades reminiscent of PJ Harvey. Alongside the single, the band also shared “Come All You Beasts,” a spoken word piece they often perform before the song during concerts. Band member Georgia Davies explained that “Come All You Beasts” was created to introduce the mythic and storytelling themes that connect From the Pyre and “Big Dog.” She said the piece blends themes from the song with Bible passages, twisting traditional ideas about women’s safety. Drawing inspiration from poetry and performance art, the band felt spoken word and improvised music naturally fit their creative style. Fans can stream “Big Dog” and watch the accompanying music video now:   The band has also added more dates supporting Olivia Rodrigo after strong demand. Their residency now includes ten shows at [Read More]

Three Chairs, One Magical Night: Maya Hawke in San Francisco

April 19, 2026

The venue, the Intimate Chapel in San Francisco, set the tone for something special. On a sold-out Saturday night, it truly was the place to be. The line wrapped around the block, and you could feel the anticipation building with every step closer to the door as fans made their way in for an evening with Maya Hawke. Inside, the venue’s stunning architecture as it was originally built as a church in early 1900s, and that sparkly disco ball hanging overhead gave it an almost dreamlike glow, an iconic setting that felt perfectly suited for what was about to unfold. With just three chairs on stage, you knew right away this wasn’t going to be a typical show, it was going to be something intimate, something magical. Maya was joined by her husband, Christian Lee Hutson, along with an amazing violinist (my apologies for not having her name) who added a beautiful layer to the performance. Throughout the night, Maya not only performed but opened up, sharing stories behind the songs, engaging with the [Read More]

The Amity Affliction share new song and announce new album

February 8, 2026

The Amity Affliction released a new song last Friday. Have you checked out “House Of Cards” yet? “House Of Cards” is a song penned by Joel Birch (singer) for his brother and sister (and himself), taking stock of the relationship shared with their mother; a central figure at the heart of the album. Open about the difficult nature of the relationship shared between mother and children, Birch unpacks the thematic nature of ‘House Of Cards’, “Our mother died in 2024 and none of us had a healthy relationship with her. She was very self-involved, aggressive, abusive in our early years and in her later years, spent a good amount of time trying to put a wedge between the three of us. Thankfully once she passed, the three of us actually became closer as we realised we had individual, but shared trauma related to her.” The new song came with the long-awaited announcement of a new album. “House Of Cards” will be the first full-length record with the band’s new clean vocalist Jonny Reeves, who became [Read More]
