Deaf Havana announce brand-new record and share new single
Deaf Havana announce the release of their sixth studio album, “The Present Is A Foreign Land”! The long-awaited follow-up to their hit album “Rituals” comes with 12 tracks written and recorded entirely by brothers James and Matty Veck-Gilodi themselves. In terms of content, the emotional songs revolve around topics such as impostor syndrome, overcoming difficult life obstacles, and self-discovery. In 2020, the band members of Deaf Havana made their decision to go their separate ways after a decade of history together, but then the pandemic struck and they had no choice but to quit making music altogether. Still, Matty continued to write new songs, which brought him and his brother James back together after a tumultuous few months.
