February 22, 2022

Singer-songwriter Cory Wells has released another beautifully honest single “Do You Like That You Love Me”. “This song means a lot to me. I wrote it about what it’s like to be in a relationship while experiencing severe depression, the challenges that brings, and the way it makes you think you’re never good enough. A constant battle with yourself, worrying about things that don’t matter, overthinking everything, and always doubting your self-worth” – Cory Wells Stream/buy the new song HERE. Belmont release new single “What I Lack”

February 21, 2022

Progressive-punk quartet, Belmont, have announced new single “What I Lack” taken from their new album “Aftermath”, which is out the 4th March 2022 via Pure Noise Records. “What I Lack” is a poppy song that plays to the classic pop punk sound of Belmont while also incorporating the newer hip hop elements”, says Jason. “The song has an energetic feel to it that feels like you’re listening to the soundtrack of a video game”. Aftermath, the band’s Pure Noise Records debut album, produced by the billion-streamed Andrew Wade (A Day To Remember, Neck Deep, Real Friends), is driving a chasm between Belmont and their peers with a stunning evolution. Led by the classical training of Inguagiato and Lada, both of whom studied at Berklee College of Music, as well as the pure instinctual prowess of the collective, Aftermath brings never-before-heard influences to the forefront in a brand-new way. In a landscape more genre-less than ever, it’s the seamless, at-times effortless blending of disparate sounds that guides Aftermath on a hyper-modern tour through musical styles – [Read More]

Slipknot – new video for “The Chapeltown Rag”

February 19, 2022

Without warning, Slipknot released their new video for “The Chapeltown Rag”. The recordings were made during the KNotfest Roadshow 2021. “The Chapeltown Rag” was recently created during the recording sessions for an as-yet-untitled new album by the band. In the best Slipknot manner, the song races forward at the speed of a derailed freight train and begins a general reckoning with Internet culture: “When everything is god online… nothing is,” chants Corey Taylor from the bottom of his soul. “We Are Not Your Kind” brought the band their third consecutive #1 in the USA and stormed to number 1 in eleven other countries worldwide (number 2 in Germany). Slipknot always deliver an inimitable experience for all the senses live, whether on their sold-out international tours or at their own festival KNOTFEST. The seventh studio album is planned for 2022 and you can be sure once again: nothing will be the same again. Real Friends release new song “Tell Me You’re Sorry”

February 15, 2022

Illinois-based band Real Friends have released a new song, ‘Tell Me You’re Sorry’, which is out now via Pure Noise Records. Speaking about the new song the band said ‘We all have loved ones in our lives that have hurt us. Sometimes those people just keep living their lives as if they never even hurt us. They think since the situation has blown over that there’s no need for an apology. But at the end of the day, we all need that closure of a proper apology for those wounds to heal. “Tell Me You’re Sorry” explores the struggles of not being able to heal without hearing the simple words “I’m Sorry” from the person that wronged you. This is a very personal song for a few of us in the band. It is rooted from numerous strained relationships in our lives. We hope our fans will hear this song and connect with it. If the words and energy of this song can help one listener feel less alone, then we accomplished what we wanted [Read More]

Slowly Slowly reveal new single “Nothing On”

February 9, 2022

Slowly Slowly are welcoming 2022 with the reveal of their new single “Nothing On” today. Accessible from all angles, “Nothing On” sees Slowly Slowly expertly strike the balance between frivolity and depth. Listeners on the outskirts of the band’s world will be drawn in by its dance and pop-esque sensibilities; equally, faithful Slowly Slowly listeners will notice this tune’s heartache-tinged qualities and the depth of its storytelling. Produced by Slowly Slowly frontman Ben Stewart and mixed by acclaimed UK producer Jonathan Gilmore (The 1975, Wolf Alice, Nothing But Thieves, beabadoobee) ’Nothing On’ serves as the first taste of new music from Slowly Slowly since their 2021 single “Blueprint“, which recently came in at #92 in triple j’s Hottest 100. On the track, Stewart explains: “With this song I really tried to push the margin out on what is considered to be the Slowly Slowly wheelhouse. After I had finished writing the music I knew I needed something that was furiously addictive, but I didn’t want to lose the depth of songwriting the band has grown [Read More]
