Interview with Siren Sycho formerly of Death Makes Pretty

August 6, 2013

Hey everyone it is Rockin Ryan here and I am proud to bring you another interview. This time I have a special one. Recently we heard the news of Siren Sycho parting ways with Death Makes Pretty due to differences between the needs and direction of the band and Siren.  Siren is definitely still continuing on and I am sure in no time she will find a perfect fit with a new band. One thing is for sure, Siren delivers 100% INTENSITY with whatever she is doing. The Biters will have you screaming for MORE!!

July 2, 2013

There comes a time when you first hear a band and you literally are taken aback with their sound. You just crank it up louder and louder and push replay and repeat just so you can make sure you are hearing what you are hearing. YOU ARE INSTANTLY IN LOVE! I can’t help but describe it ,except as complete ear porn. Well, tonight that has happened for me…. My son asked me earlier to check out a band for him. I decided to put on the song he recommended, “Hallucination Generation” and it was like I was sucked back into my youth. I was enjoying everything from Ramones, Cheap Trick Sex Pistols, old style Bowie. I was LOVING this. I was sure my son had it wrong and this had to be some old [Read More]

Kick it into high gear with Katalina Kicks!

April 11, 2013

Shhhh…. I have a confession to make… Many of you have known me for my absolute LOVE and ADORATION of Heavy and Hard Rock and Roll but I must confess…..Long ago, there was a time in my wonderful teens and 20’s where I would take breaks from my Hard Rock life to head to San Francisco and catch my fix of Alternative Rock/Grunge-Punk. Oh how I miss those days, but you know what??? I have found a band that just brings all those great memories back…. No, they are not trying to make a comeback from the late 70’s or reinvent themselves from the late 90’s. The best part is they are a current band and you are going to LOVE them!!! Hailing from West London is the effervescent trio of Katalina Kicks! These three guys pack a punch of energy, attitude and just pure raw fun. You can’t help but move to them and just let the energy flow through your veins. Their music just catapults to the next level of adrenaline which is [Read More]
