Marla Mase’s 2013 album “SPEAK” feeds your soul and your senses as you are treated to live music, spoken word, dance and visual imagery. There comes a time when you first hear a band and you literally are taken aback with their sound. You just crank it up louder and louder and push replay and repeat just so you can make sure you are hearing what you are hearing. YOU ARE INSTANTLY IN LOVE! I have a confession to make… Many of you have known me for my absolute LOVE and ADORATION of Heavy and Hard Rock and Roll but I must confess…..Long ago, there was a time in my wonderful teens and 20’s where I would take breaks from my Hard Rock life to head to San Francisco and catch my fix of Alternative Rock/Grunge-Punk.
