BlessTheFall ignite a wave of crowd surfers out on the Moving On Tour

December 3, 2014

Blessthefall were another great band to check out on the Moving On Tour. This was the first time for us catching them perform live and they were incredible. The crowd at the Regency Ballroom in San Francisco were definitely ready to heavy it up by the time Blessthefall hit the stage. From the second they hit the stage, the intense wave of crowd surfers began. It was like a sea of legs in the air and sweat flying across the venue. They kicked ass and I am already looking forward to the next time they return to San Francisco.  The energy these guys bring out is unreal and they had the crowd under their spell. You can catch Blessthefall out on the remaining dates of The Moving On Tour. KREATOR return to the home of thrash metal and tear up the Regency Ballroom in San Francisco!

November 13, 2014

We have been bringing you coverage of our coverage of Arch Enemy, Huntress and Starkill and now we present to you our coverage of …. Kreator. WOW! What a night it was to see all these great metal bands take the stage at the Regency Ballroom but especially to see the return of German thrash metal band, Kreator. It seemed everywhere I turned fans were wearing their Kreator shirts and telling stories of the times they saw them last or favorite albums, etc. The birthplace of thrash metal was the perfect setting for the return of Kreator and the crowd was fueled and ready to go. From the second Kreator hit the stage, the crowd parted and an intense mosh pit opened up and seemed to span the length of the ballroom! It was fierce and with every bad ass thrash song Kreator played, the energy increased and the mosh pit intensified to insurmountable levels. It brought me back to my vivid memories of catching local thrash bands perform at The Stone in SF long [Read More]

Huntress proved to be a crowd favorite at Regency Ballroom in San Francisco

November 12, 2014

We were in San Francisco on Monday night and braved the traffic to arrive early and catch all the bands featured on the Arch Enemy Tour which included killer sets from Kreator, Huntress and Starkill. I must say, I was most excited to see Huntress since I have never been able to see them live but have heard so many great things about them. Sure enough, as we were outside in line chatting with the fans so many told us how they were excited to see Huntress again.  They shared details about their favorite songs and their excitement poured out with every story. One thing in common with all of them, was that Huntress always put on a MUST SEE SHOW! When Huntress hit the stage, I immediately understood everything the fans were talking about. They were absolutely amazing and put on one of the best solid sets in heavy metal out today. They have a very unique sound that blends early heavy metal with hints of seventies vibe and classic thrash that grabs a hold [Read More]

Adelita’s Way dominated The Regency Ballroom with an adrenaline fueled set

October 11, 2014

We headed into San Francisco earlier this week for The Pretty Reckless show at The Regency Ballroom. It was the fourth time I have seen them in just a couple years, so what I was really looking forward to; was seeing Adelita’s Way. The first opening band, Falling Through April was great too and I hope you check out our article on them here.  I have been waiting for a while to see them return to the Bay Area and it so happens, that they were the opener for TPR. It was 5 years ago this October, where I first introduced to Adelita’s Way. They were opening for Shinedown and the second they hit the stage, I was completely floored by their killer hard rock! Well, one thing is for sure, Adelita’s Way did it again, they actually exceeded all expectations and delivered a 150% high energetic set that rocked the Regency. This is one band that is well deserving of your full and undivided attention! Vocalist, Rick DeJesus has such an impressive presence that [Read More]
