Mannequin Pussy delivers powerhouse performance in San Francisco

Mannequin Pussy brought their I Got Heaven Tour to San Francisco for a sold out show at the August Hall. The tour in support of their fourth studio album, I Got Heaven which was released on March 1, 2024 via Epitaph Records. We have been blasting the album for a couple months now and have been so excited for the tour to finally make it to the Bay Area. The night kicked off with an explosive set by Soul Glo. Their music blends hardcore punk and hiphop shining a light on the Black American experience. Their set was absolutely incredible and the crowd reciprocated the intense energy with a massive mosh pit that held strong throughout the set. Rockers Quarters of Change pack the Independent for their Portraits Tour

The Independent was packed last night as alt rockers Quarters of Change brought their Portraits tour to San Francisco. This was one tour we have been anxiously awaiting arrival of. The fans arrived early as the line wrapped around the block ahead of entry. The all ages show filled the venue from front to back. The night kicked off with an energetic set by Bay Area alt/indie band High Sunn. They got the crowd warmed up and dancing in no time. When Quarters of Change arrived on the stage, they were like a shot of adrenaline electrifying the crowd with their high energy performance. All eyes were on the band as they captivated the crowd with their talent and stage presence. They blew us away by playing Tightrope second song in, and it sounded every bit as good as the studio recording, and with extra dose of energy of the live performance took it to the top. Black Veil Brides kick off their US Bleeders Tour in San Francisco

Black Veil Brides kicked off their Bleeders tour last night in San Francisco at the legendary Fillmore. The night kicked off with a killer set by Creeper that had us all anxious to see them again! Creeper The energy continued on with Ghostkid from Germany and Dark Divine from Florida, both great bands on the rise. GhostKid Dark Divine The atmosphere intensified as the Black Veil Brides were about to hit the stage. The band came out to an eruption of screams and cheers, and the kicked it off strong with I am Bulletproof. The band was spot on and their performance was electrifying. The stage presence was explosive and their passion for their music shined through each song. Brit rockers Creeper serve up a killer set at the legendary Fillmore

Last night Black Veil Brides kicked off their Bleeders Tour in San Francisco at the legendary Fillmore. Starting off the night was Brit rockers Creeper which have a style that blends horror punk and goth rock. Creeper instantly won the crowd as they opened their set with our favorite Cry to Heaven. They rocked the stage and gave 150% to the fans and their energy was infectious. It was a headline worthy performance and we could only hope for a longer set. Friday April 19th we arrived at August Hall to catch Aidan Bissett – SuperNova: How’s it Gonna End? Tour. The night kicked off with a fun energetic set by Stevie Bill which kept the crowd engaged from the start. The venue’s energy came to a roar as Aidan Bissett hit the stage, crowd cheering and immediately dancing along. The audience was locked onto Aidan as he took control of the stage with his commanding presence. His music is truly an instant mood elevator as you can’t help yourself from allowing it to free your mind and let the music take over. The Last Dinner Party dazzles the sold out audience in San Francisco

Since attending their sold out inaugeral California performance last November at the El Rey Theater, we have been counting the days until we could see The Last Dinner Party. They had left such an indelible impression on us with their night of ecstatic revelry that we had it ranking as Our Favorite Concert! They came to play at the intimate Bimbo’s 365 in San Francisco. We arrived to the venue and the line quickly wrapped out around the block. The Mission are returning to San Francisco on May 9th at Great American Music Hall

We are so excited to share that post-punk rockers The Mission are returning to San Francisco as they head out on a West Coast Spring Tour. They will be playing at Great American Music Hall on May 9th and is sure to be a show you won’t want to miss. The show will be the last one right before they play at Pasadena’s annual Cruel World Festival which brings together an amazing lineup of bands; Duran Duran, Simple Minds, Adam Ant, Blondie, Interpol, etc. Vocalist/Guitarist Wayne Hussey comments, “It’s a very eclectic bill… a lot of bands playing that I’d like to see,” he says. “It’s a shame we don’t generally get festival lineups like this in Europe. They tend to be more genre-specific.
