November 7, 2014

We recently brought you our show recap of Black Veil Brides and The Black Mass Tour  as it made it’s stop in San Francisco at the legendary Warfield Theater. We briefly told you about the energetic set of Set It Off and we know you want more! Set It Off hit the stage and the adrenaline in the crowd was raised up and you couldn’t help but get infected with the high powered vitality on that stage. It was great to see the crowd sing along to fan favorites as well as their new song, Why Worry.  If you weren’t familiar with Set It Off before that night, I am sure you left the Warfield acknowledging that they just might be your new favorite band. They are passionate musicians that light up the stage with their adrenalized pop/punk rock. No need to categorize with a genre, just enjoy the feel good music that invigorates you from head to toe.   Check out our photo gallery from Rockin Ryan of their set: Earlier this month, they premiered [Read More]

Interview with Tom Keifer featuring photos from his show at the Whisky-a-GoGo

November 6, 2014

Tom Keifer has been quite busy touring in support of his highly acclaimed solo record, The Way Life Goes. If you don’t already have it, do yourself a big favor and pick it up. It is filled with rockin tracks featuring his beloved signature vocals and emotionally driven lyrics. It truly takes you on a musical journey highlighting emotions and heart felt songs while satisfying your need for rock. Tom recently played at the Whisky a GoGo in Hollywood last month. This was a show that we had anticipated for months and were so excited for. Unfortunately, with my mother’s health taking a bit of quick turn, we stayed close to home. Our colleague Linda Emord of Eye Shutter 4 U made it out to the show and check out her photos from his spectacular set: We had the chance to interview Tom several days after his show and are pleased to bring that interview to you here: Make sure to check out our interview with Tom from last year shortly after the release of [Read More]

Check out the new music video from Gus G. for Long Way Down featuring Alexia Rodriguez

November 6, 2014

Ozzy Osbourne/Firewind guitarist Gus G. has released a new music video. The video is for Long Way Down and features Alexia Rodriguez from Eyes Set To Kill. It is an amazing track and it is great to see Alexia involved, she is one of my favorite vocalists as well as a bad ass guitarist!  The video was shot by acclaimed director and long-time GUS G. creative partner Patric Ullaeus (IN FLAMES, WITHIN TEMPTATION, AT THE GATES, etc.).About the video’s storyline and background, Gus G. comments: “I worked on this track with producer Kevin Churko (OZZY, 5FDP, etc.), his son Kane and Alexia Rodriguez from EYES SET TO KILL. Once we finished it, we knew we had a special song in our hands.  The ‘Long Way Down’ lyrics were inspired by a scene I witnessed many years ago, when I briefly lived in Sweden. What I saw, is the exact storyline with the girl in this video. We hear about suicides all the time in the news, it’s always shocking. Hundreds of thousands of people deal with [Read More]
