December 31, 2014

2014 is definitely the year for The Relapse Symphony but 2015 will be even better! They have just been announced as performing on Vans Warped Tour 2015! Hell yes, that is awesome. I know they are one of the bands that we have been hoping to get added to the lineup. They are incredible live and they are definitely going to be one of the highlights of Vans Warped Tour 2015. They will be performing from 6/19/15 to 7/12/15. In case you don’t already have it, they released an acoustic version of their album, Shadows titled Shadows The Acoustic Sessions.  It is just as amazing as their original and with the acoustic atmosphere, it brings to life so much emotion. Bret’s vocals are spot on spectacular and the backing vocals from the band is superb. Unbelievable and what a great group of talented young musicians. I will leave you with a couple of their videos,  “One More Yesterday” & “Savage Eyes” These are easily two of our favorite songs from the album Shadows. The video for Savage [Read More]

Vattica release thought provoking new video for Air-Conditioned Life

December 23, 2014

Rockers from Hollywood,  Vattica have just released a new video for their song, Air-Conditioned Life.  The  band says, “the new video which focuses on the issues of wealth inequality, class warfare, racial profiling, the ever-growing police state and  was made as a commentary to the dark times we live in.”  Check out the video here: I know to the youth of today may feel that we are faced with heavy and dark times, but with each generation we all had experienced tumultuous times and often feared the world we lived in. My father would tell us stories of the Depression and living through the World Wars. One thing is for sure, anytime we have faced dark times, the gift of music has been there to comfort us, ignite us with a passion to make a change or to just bring a much needed break from everything. It seems that with [Read More]

You might just think it is another scene out of everyday nightlife in Los Angeles when you watch the new video from industrial electronic rockers Blue Eyed Christ for their song Freakshow. The Masquerade themed video features footage from Santa Monica Blvd. Halloween party as well as fan submitted footage. Check out the cinematic visualization for Freakshow here: Blue Eyed Christ explains about the video, “As to be expected the “Freakshow” Video Shoots in Los Angeles were Epic and Chaotic. We started at a big Goth Club’s party the week before Halloween shooting renegade style from the inside. The director, Eric Zimmerman (NIN, Ministry, Soundgarden), got kicked out pretty quickly cause someone complained he was shooting up girl’s skirts, which I’d love to say was true but it wasn’t. Then he got attacked by a hipster on drugs in a Jockey costume outside the club. This was just the beginning cause all the Freaks came out for the Halloween Video Shoot at one of the largest public gatherings in the world,The Santa Monica Blvd Halloween Party. [Read More]
