Andy Black, a Warped Tour highlight. This year’s Vans Warped Tour had quite a variety of artists to choose from and insured something for everyone. As we begin our feature on our spotlight Vans Warped Tour artists, we kick it off with Andy Black. Andy was a summer highlight for so many on this year’s Warped Tour. He continued to grace the lists of Must-See Bands and Favorite Sets. We. of course had to wait until the very last few dates to get our Andy Black fix in and it was every bit worth it. Andy delivered a high energy set that had the crowd mesmerized from start to finish. He had ultimate swagger as he controlled the set with his commanding performance. His smooth vocals would dance amid the fine balance of moody and dark to infectiously pop. The crowd erupted in cheer after every song as they continued to sing every lyric. After touring North America, Mexico, the UK and Australia in 2016, ‘The Homecoming Tour: Curtain Call’ of Andy Black with William Control and Palaye Royale kicks off in Lancaster, PA on February 8th 2017. The Black Veil Brides frontman was quite successful with touring his solo project so far. Last week he released a tour documentary on facebook in which he shares his experiences of touring and being away from home and how the views on things changed over the years. It was filmed during the UK tour last year with Creeper.
