Day 7 of 12 Days of Bands You Have to Know goes to Tattooed Millionaires. Sometimes the path you first choose takes you to unexpected places with ups and downs along the way. You have a choice at that point…walk away or continue on your path that you were destined for. The latter is exactly what Johnny Jetson of Tattooed Millionaires chose. He walked the path that continued on with his great journey of music.

Sometimes that path brings you to the crossroads where you have to choose and that time is now for Tattooed Millionaires. As Johnny Jetson explains, “When the band first started it was somewhat political… now I don’t give a fuck about politics we just want to rock the fuck out of people… in the beginning it was very image heavy now our music has caught up to the image… we are all about freedom to be who the fuck you want to be live life on your own terms and no one tells us what to do ever..”

There is the glory in being “part” of something; a family, a band, a gang, whatever you can grasp to make yourself feel at home is what is so needed today. Music brings that to so many people and it means so much, it is a way of life. Johnny tells us more about the band today.

“We are as much a gang as we are a band… everyone in the band has hot rods and motorcycles that we earned ourselves… our music is the soundtrack to our lives not what we think people want to hear… it’s a very sexual band that believes that SEX is the most important ingredient in sex, drugs and rock and roll…It’s a confident band that knows it’s place is on the big stage but we are also working class boys who are humble and put people first… and we are living in the real world as opposed to so many bands who seem to be living out some sort of freaky fantasy of demons and dragons… Quite simply we are an American Rock and Roll band for the 21st Century… using our music to connect with people and inspire them not to give up who they are to fit in with the crowd… the people that dig our music and support our band are not fans (fanatics) they are our friends and they are part are a bigger rock and roll family”
