12 Days of Rock Christmas!
On the 7th day of Christmas my Rock and Roll love gave to me a sneak peak of new music by The Veer Union. I have loved The Veer Union from the moment I first saw them open up for Puddle Of Mudd at Slim’s several years ago. I still remember it as if it was yesterday. We were towards the back since we were going to sit down and get some dinner before heading to the front for Puddle Of Mudd. We had ordered our nachos and drinks and had just started to eat while the band took the stage. First thing that catches your eye is Crispin, the lead singer with his possibly 12″ awesome mohawk! Within a few minutes they were all set up up and we were still snacking away. Then they started to play and within the first 30 seconds, we left our food and table to rush to get up front to really see this band. It was love at first sound for us.
Since then, we have been able to catch them at a few more shows, bought albums, etc. Over the past couple years, The Veer Union had to endure a lot of difficult times. Things have changed for them so much but Crispin Earl has carried on and is determined to do whatever he can to continue and live his dream. Well, that brings us to here today. I want to tell you about this awesome band as well as ask you to join in on the Kickstarter campaign that Crispin has launched. So he can complete his new EP aptly titled, “Life Support Part 1”. To watch Crispin explain more about his Kickstarter, watch his video here.
Crispin has a new line up of musicians and recently written and recorded a brand new song, “The World I Wanted”. This song just rocks in every way. Lyrically Crispin just captures his passion and envelopes it in his energy. His vocals are just so intense and captivating. It is simply incredible and I think it is his best work to date! I am very excited for what he has in store for us. Here is his new song that will be available exclusively on his kickstarter campaign. Check it out here:
You may remember The Veer Union from one of their biggest hits, “Seasons” which is absolutely high energy KICK ASS ROCK! That song just dominated the airwaves. I love that song and still have it on my favorites Playlist. Here is an old video for it:
Do you remember that saying, “It is better to give than to receive” or the saying, “Give the gift that keeps on giving”? Well today being the 7th Day of Christmas and The Veer Union being my 7th gift, how about giving a gift that gives in return! Head over to Kickstarter and become a backer of Crispin’s campaign. What I love about Kickstarter is that it directly links fans to the artist and they get to be part of the record making process. In return for making a pledge and becoming a backer, you get exclusive rewards that can range from exclusive song downloads, handwritten lyric sheets, VIP access to future concerts, guitars, and even your own full band performance! There is something in there for every budget. It is exciting to be part of and an honor to see Crispin continue his dream with this upcoming EP.
~ Enjoy, Marisol
