I have an unbelievably awesome new band for you to check out. Hopefully, they are not new to you but they are new to me! So get ready, you might have to sit down to hear this one. Allow me to introduce you to Red Sky Mary from New Hampshire. These guys have a 70’s rock vibe and a sound that will just take over you. I swear, it was like listening to a long lost Led Zeppelin reel. They have energy, charisma, smoking guitar riffs, and vocals that will have you in lust with them! The band says about the new track, “South of the City is about those nights where the party starts a little too early and ends a lot too late. It’s about paying our dues on the road, the ups and downs, blown van tires, gigs every weekend. It is a reminder to our fans and our selves that the Rock and Roll Promiseland begins in your hometown.”
Now that I have you hooked, let’s hope these guys get out on the road soon, preferably here in California! We need them out here. Red Sky Mary recently signed to Carved Records and will begin recording their national debut album. We will see if we can bring you an interview with this fast rising band and make sure to visit their social media sites.
