DORYDRIVE's new album Here's To You is addictive!!

I have to share a secret with you…. I am addicted to the new album “Here’s To You” by DoryDrive and I mean addicted! DoryDrive is an alternative rock/ pop rock band from Nashville and they have released their full length album earlier this year. It is definitely making an impact. DoryDrive is Mathieu Nevitt on Vocals, Tom LaBrosse on Guitar, Henry Koller on Guitar, Nick Mendini on Bass and Joey Zak on Drums.

As soon as you take a first listen, starting with Radiate you can’t help but be captivated by the infectious vocals of Mathieu Nevitt. He almost reminds me of my fave vocalist, Myles Kennedy. It is awesome to hear fresh new music that immediately grabs your attention and then continues on with the next song. Paramour has emotionally driven lyrics that ring through passionate vocals and catchy melodic hooks. This band definitely delivers a complete package and holds nothing back in their delivery.

Here’s To You has a sweet seductive intro that builds into a rockin song. It is probably my most favorite song, but honestly every song seems to be my favorite. Perfect Chemicals shows the band’s diversity in style and this song has a raw edgy sexy side to it wrapped with intensity that takes the heat up a notch.

When The Lights Burn Out takes it a bit softer with an emotional ballad that is fiercely passionate and highlighted with the piano piece. It is not only emotionally stirring but the vocals are soul touching. Beautifully written song that purely captures the moment.

Never Easy is another stand out song that has a bold intro and you can feel the southern rock/country styles come out. Once again you are treated to passionate vocals that create such a vulnerability in this song which draws you in.

Dance Baby Dance is a flirty sexy song that will have you moving around and shaking your hips. It has such a seductive beat to it and the attitude in the vocals tempt you with the invitation to Dance Baby Dance and become his “bad girl”! Even the guitars are dirty and sexy in this one!

The album ends with Your Gravity and is the perfect way to end the album. It is almost like that perfect kiss goodnight where it feels so good and you just want to be “in the moment”. It is a song that can span the genres of music and is just simply a beautiful touching song. I love this one, with emotionally stirring vocals and tender lyrics that wrap around you and feed your soul.
