The alternative progressive – experimental band of BOYFRNDZ is set to release their third album, Impulse on May 27th via Brutal Panda Records. The band from Austin has captured the indie scene for several years now and with their new release, will continue to garner more fans. Check out one of the songs, Hiatus off the new album,
The song brings out a celestial track that takes you on a colorful journey. Vocals/Guitarist Scott Michaels comments,
“We’re always trying to push ourselves into new territories, to make new stylistic choices. It’s a really heady, layered album for us. The songs were driven more by capturing a mood and atmosphere than anything else. It was a really fun place for us to experiment, sonically.”
