New Years Day is gearing up to embark out on the Retrograde Tour with Crown the Empire and Blessthefall. The tour will kick off tomorrow at the Nile Theater in Phoenix, AZ. They are touring in support of their highly praised album, Malevolence. The album was produced by Erik Ron (The Word Alive, Motionless In White) and is the band’s first release on Another Century Records.

The album bleeds such honesty in the lyrics and provides the perfect outlet for anyone to break away from the confines of their insecurity, self doubt, darkness and anger. It is like the music that blares through a dark tunnel just as you see the light at the end, and know things will get better.
