Texas Hippie Coalition release video for first single, Monster in Me from forthcoming album, Ride On

One of our favorite bands from this year’s Rockstar Mayhem Festival, Texas Hippie Coalition have released a new lyric video. The lyric video is for the first single, Monster In Me which is off their forthcoming album, Ride On and is set for an October 7th release. This song is so BAD ASS! I love it, dirty guitars, seductive lyrics, vocals that grab a hold of you and a beat that just gets deep in your soul.  Check out the lyric video for Monster In Me here:

Their new style of music dubbed Red Dirt Metal is definitely receiving a lot of well due praise and I can’t wait to hear their new album. Ride On is due out on October 7th via Carved Records/Caroline Distribution. “It’s like Lynyrd Skynyrd and ZZ Top had a child, and Pantera ended up raising it,” exclaims Big Dad Ritch. “We’re Red Dirt Metal. That’s a flag we wave high. There wasn’t a line formed for us, so I created a line and jumped to the front of that bad boy. Ride On is the best example of what we do.”  The album is Available For Pre-Order at http://smarturl.it/THCrideon_iTunes via iTunes and http://smarturl.it/THCrideon_AmzCD via Amazon.

The tracklisting for Ride On is:

  • 1)     El Diablo Rojo
  • 2)     Splinter
  • 3)     Monster In Me
  • 4)     Go Pro
  • 5)     Rock Ain’t Dead
  • 6)     Bottom Of The Bottle
  • 7)     Rubbins Racin
  • 8)     Ride On
  • 9)     Fire In The Hole
  • 10)   I Am The End

We can’t wait for the release and for a new tour. They completely tore up the stage this year on the Rockstar Mayhem Festival Tour as they performed to a packed crowd. It was awesome to see the great reception that this Red Dirt Metal received from everyone as they brought an ass whoopin to the crowd. They raised the heat as everyone was embracing their heavy metal classic rock sound. It was intense and I can’t wait to catch them again. They are one of those bands that right after you see them, you are on an immediate high and contemplating when and where you will get to see them next!!

Check out a slideshow of photos by our Rockin Ryan of their set at Mayhem here:

We had the chance to catch up with the guys after their set and talk with them briefly. Check it out here, (we apologize for the background audio)

Make sure to visit their social media sites and stay up to date on their latest news.
