Our very own Rockin Ryan has had quite a busy year. This was his first year getting in the pit and down to business covering concerts. He not only handled all of our video interviews but covered numerous concerts, tours, festivals, NAMM coverage,tribute videos and so much more.
He was busy today putting together his photography highlights of 2013. We did want to share his responses on our Best of 2013 so here they are….
Best Concert to Photograph? Steel Panther, Regency Ballroom
Best Artist to Photograph? Ronnie Radke and Jacky Vincent of Falling in Reverse – Aftershock Festival Sacramento and Slim’s, San Francisco
Favorite Photo of 2013 for you? Hell no! My pictures are like children, I don’t play favorites! So I will share all my favorites in a slide show below! But here are my Top Twenty:
Best Venue of 2013? Club Nokia, Los Angeles, CA
Best Tour or Festival of 2013? Aftershock Festival, Sacramento, CA
Best Song of 2013? Moving On by Asking Alexandria…. So much his favorite song, he made this tribute video of his photos and footage to the song. Check it out here:
Best Album of 2013? Fashionably Late by Falling in Reverse
Best Interview of 2013? Delta Rose baby! These guys ROCK! I filmed the video right out in front of The Viper Room and the Gibson Bus during Revolver Golden Gods Awards. Check it out here:
Best Band of 2013? Heaven’s Basement
Music Highlight of 2013? Falling in Reverse Acoustic Show. I am not a big fan of acoustic shows but Fallling in Reverse put on the funnest and most entertaining acoustic set ever!
