One Less Reason delivers emotionally stirring hard rock that will have you hooked

So many times when you listen to heavy or hard rock your focus is on the thundering drums or powerful guitars not the lyrics. One Less Reason has turned that around by creating hard rock complete with the fierce guitars, powerful vocals but have added amazing emotionally stirring lyrics. I will tell you that I was having a very, very bad day dealing with family drama (quite similar to the Kerri Kasem situation with her father) and I needed a release or escape from it all. I usually have two routes I go, I listen to something loud and heavy to release or I listen to lyrically stirring music to provide comfort and calm. Our Tuesdays Travels Pick of the Week Band is DNR from Italy. I am so excited to tell you about this great band, DNR who are ready to break the norm with their new fresh take on rock and roll infused with alternative and electro. DNR started as a project from Italy by the bassist Kira who had a dream, “To fuse the Asian and Western Music as well as Visual styles into one.” Although there might have been a couple line-up changes over the years, one thing rings true, the dream is still very well alive and their new sound will reel you in and captivate you. Like Monroe signs a record deal with Good Fight/Entertainment One Music!

We are excited to share with you some great news about one of our featured bands, Like Monroe have just announced they have inked a record deal with Good Fight/Entertainment One Music. Guitarist, Chris Deckards says, “We are excited and honored to join the eOne / Good Fight family. This is honestly a dream come true for all of us and we can’t wait to share our music with the world. Peter London delivers ‘The Feel Good’ album of 2014 with America

Our very own San Francisco favorite singer/songrwriter Peter London has recently released his new CD America . Peter is an avid animal lover and has used his gift of music to raise awareness and funds for a refuge animal center through Pets in Need. The end result is that Peter has not only helped a great cause but has succeeded in creating what could be the ‘feel good’ album of the year. The album takes you on a primarily acoustic musical journey that brings you a variety of songs ranging from raw emotional tunes, sweet folk songs, modern rock to alternative rock tracks. Track Fighter always delivers a high energy rock show!

We have been watching Track Fighter for quite a while now. They are one of the hardest working Alternative/Rock/Metal bands in the Bay Area. The first time we saw them was several years ago and one thing is for sure, they have never let up on their high energy performance. We were glad to see them opening up for Eve to Adam and Escape the Fate at the Ace of Spades last week. They were great once again as they continued to unleash their intense set on their hometown of Sacramento.
