Oak Street Blues span across the genres for some alternative country rock

Yes, that is right I called it alternative, country, rock and I might add even hints of electronic, blues and pop. That is exactly what you get from Southern California band, Oak Street Blues.The band was founded by Chris Hall, and with his 15 year history with several bands from a variety of genres, he brought together his influences to create their own unique sound that reminds me of a cross between Tom Petty and Wilco. Today our Bottle Rock Napa Featured Band is Cosmos Percussion Orchestra. Doesn’t that name just intrigue you? Today our Bottle Rock Napa Featured Band is The Fray. The Fray has been one of my favorite bands for quite a while. I think I have seen them live about four times and honestly I just can get enough of them! I remember the first time I fell in love with them was when I heard their song Over My Head on the radio. I tried to find out who it was and no one knew. It took me a couple weeks of trying to catch it again on the radio and this time I was going to find out! This band does not need any introduction as almost all of us at one time or another cranked up “All Star” and sang out loud at the top of our lungs.
