Being As An Ocean signs to Equal Vision Records and premieres new song/video

   Excited to announce that Being As An Ocean have signed to Equal Vision Records. Vocalist Joel Quartuccio comments on the announcement,  “We are ecstatic to finally get the opportunity to work with the family at Equal Vision Records. Our relationship has been a long time in the making, and it is like a dream come true to be able to call ourselves part of the team. Ever since we met Dan Sandshaw, EVR’s president, we knew that the label’s ethos and passion for the music was akin to our own and that we didn’t want to settle for anything less. Can’t get enough of The Virginmarys and their new song, Motherless Land

  We are only weeks away from the return of The Virginmarys as they are set to tour with Shinedown in March 2016!  I have been hooked on them from the first time I heard them several years ago. They have such a vibrant punk edge rock sound that will have you begging for more. They are set to release their new album, Divides on May 6th. You can check out their new song, Motherless Land. The describe the song as “It’s a song about escape and it’s full of questions of what we’re collectively doing in 2016. It’s about striving for peace, love and truth.”   The Virginmarys are an incredible live band and sound just as awesome as their recordings. Ally Dickaty on vocals/guitar is fierce as he bounces around and fills the room with emotionally driven lyrics. Matt Rose on bass is a wild man, and you can feel the adrenaline that is powering him. Danny Dolan on drums is always throwing out some cheeky drum fills as he maintains a 150% energy overload. Time for a new dose of heavy metal from Motorize and catch them live this weekend!

Northern California has always been known as a great breeding ground for heavy metal and once again, Motorize will have you taking notice of their new heavy metal sound.  Sacramento metal band, Motorize are once again ready to deliver you a heavy dose of metal.  They have just released theirn new EP All or Nothing which features that original heavy metal sound that you have been craving. You are held captive with their aggressive guitars, crunchy basslines and full vigorous vocals reminiscent of Judas Priest, Dio and Iron Maiden. Beauty in the Suffering release electro-rock cover of Outfield’s Your Love

  Beauty in the Suffering have just released a really cool electro rock cover of the Outfield’s Your Love. They take the classic Outfield hit and modernize it with their electro rock style. The end result being a heavier electronic version for you to love just as much as the original. Interview with James Cassells of Asking Alexandria as they take over The Warfield in San Francisco!

Asking Alexandra recently set out on the road with Bullet For My Valentine and While She Sleeps for the “British Invasion Tour”. We were excited to catch them on the 2nd night of the tour as they made a much needed stop in San Francisco at The Warfield Theater.  This was the first time that we would be catching Asking Alexandria in San Francisco performing with their new vocalist Denis Stoff. One thing is certain, they truly blew the roof off The Warfield as they came prepared to unleash their fierce heavy metal onto the SF crowd. There was no shortage of energy as the five gelled together and delivered a performance that would have any naysayers changing their tune. With the departure of Danny Worsnop last year, it was a pinnacle moment for the band.   We were excited when we ran into a couple of the guys from The Deadlies at this year’s NAMM Convention. They blew us away last year at BottleRock 2015 and this year they return to BottleRock 2016. Today Asking Alexandria released the video for their latest release ‘The Black’. It’s the title track of their upcoming album, which will be out March 25th, 2016.
