BottleRock Napa Featured Band of the Day is Battle Tapes

  Today our Bottle Rock Napa Featured Band is Battle Tapes. This band will be bringing their fresh new sound of electro rock synth to BottleRock. It is great to see a versatile group of bands on this year’s lineup and Battle Tapes will definitely be bringing in great upbeat dose of synth rock.  They also do incredible remixes that you have to check out as well. They also have an upcoming show in Las Vegas at Vinyl on February 22nd. Chat with Kyle and Sebastian of CIMINO at NAMM 2015

We ran in to Sebastian and Kyle of CIMINO while we were out covering NAMM 2015. It was great to talk with them and hear that they will be performing at the Whisky a GoGo next month. Check out the interview here:   Hard rockers, CIMINO have been one of my favorite new bands. Their sound is one thing…. straight up rock n roll. No blurring of the lines of genres, no trying to reinvent the wheel, stray from their roots or any of that. This powerhouse rock band just wants to ROCK and that is exactly what I love about them. Escape the Fate delivered a fierce set at the Schecter NAMM AfterParty

We are all adjusting to our NAMMover, where we all wish we were back in Anaheim checking out all the amazing products and enjoying all the best concerts. One of the highlights from our NAMM trip was catching Escape the Fate perform at the Schecter NAMM AfterParty on Saturday night. It seemed to be the place to be as we saw so many familiar faces at the venue!  Earlier in the day, we caught up with Craig Mabbitt and Alex Torres for a quick chat. Check it out here: Later that night Escape the Fate hit the stage at The Grove in Anaheim and tore it up with a fierce set. It was a great show. BottleRock Napa Featured Band of the Day is Grass Child

  Today our Bottle Rock Napa Featured Band is Grass Child. Grass Child returns to perform at the BottleRock Festival!  They bring a fresh new sound of rock/ska/funk/groove/blues to life.  What is amazing about this band is their versatility in combining a wide range of influences into their own personal sound that demands to be heard. You will always come away from a Grass Child show with a smile on your face and a warm heart. Grass Child have recently re-released their album Marinade. Black Oxygen release music video for As Time Ticks By

  One of my favorite bands Black Oxygen have released a cinematic music video for their song, As Time Ticks By. It is not only one of my favorite tracks off their album, Beating Time but the video is a stellar production that takes you back to the Old West as a ghost town comes to life.   Today our featured BottleRock Napa 2015 Band of the Day is Sister Sparrow & The Dirty Birds. They are an amazing soulful funk rock band that brings in the rich sound of brass amid the infectious vocals of Arleigh and you are instantly hooked. The powerful vocals of Arleigh deliver intense emotion through her soulful voice. Arleigh is backed by her Dirty Birds band  that and each member is a spectacular musician and together they provide one amazing not-to-miss performance!
