My Life With Thrill Kill Kult returns to a packed house at the DNA Lounge!

If you have ever been inside the pizza parlor of the DNA Lounge, you may have noticed all the cool concert posters of bands who have graced the stages of the DNA Lounge. You might even see the four or five My Life With Thrill Kill Kult posters there. The DNA has a long history in San Francisco and I can remember spending many late nights in the late 80’s and 90’s. It has since become one of the favored venues by artists to perform. We were excited to catch the return of My Life With Thrill Kill Kult as they made a stop in San Francisco for their “Spooky Tricks” Tour in support of their new album of the same title. Interview with Captain Capa and catch them at the Beatport stage on Warped Tour!

We had recently told you about one of our Warped Tour highlights, Captain Capa from Germany. They returned to perform all summer long on the Vans Warped Tour. Their great electronic infused music had everyone dancing and having a lot of fun. We were glad to catch them for a quick interview on our second day of Warped Tour coverage in Wheatland, CA. Survive This! is a set not to be missed on Vans Warped Tour!

  This past Saturday we were at the Mountain View date for Vans Warped Tour. So many great bands, so many stages, and so many decisions to be made! One thing is for sure before you arrive at Warped Tour write down your list of Must See Bands and then make sure to walk around and try to get to as many other stages as possible. You really may be missing some of the highlights of Warped Tour and possibly your new favorite band. One band that I hope you have on your Must See list is Survive This! We saw them earlier this year when they opened for Falling in Reverse on the Bury The Hatchet tour. Icon For Hire was one of the highlights of our Warped Tour Coverage

This year Vans Warped Tour had many great bands on several stages. It truly became hard to choose where to go and who to check out. What is great is that we still have another full day of Warped Tour to check out all the bands we did miss. Saturday was the perfect day for Warped Tour, hot but not extremely blazing as it has been in the past. There were lines that went to the back of the parking lot as early as 9:30. Nobody wanted to miss out on catching all the great bands. There is one band that I have to tell you about. After running around from the main stages to the amphitheatre stages, I found myself at the Hard Rock Kevin Says Stage at 6:30. I was there just in time for the 6:35 start of Icon For Hire which I didn’t know anything about (I know, shame on me, shake your finger at me and tell me that it was very bad that I hadn’t heard of them before!!). Captain Capa arrives at Warped Tour and delivers an awesome set at the Beatport Stage

Yesterday, we covered day 1 of our 2 day Vans Warped Tour Coverage and stay tuned for some awesome photos and set reviews. Our first one we wanted to highlight for you was a great electronic music set by Captain Capa. Captain Capa came all the way from Germany to return and perform at this year’s Warped Tour. With a bit of visa and travel delays, yesterday ended up being the first day on Warped Tour and we were glad to catch their set.
